Abniel Velez I love this place, I got an appointment with Kristy Dunham and she is also honestly incredible. It’s been hard to find someone who does my hair the way I like, it’s very difficult for me to find someone who cuts curly hair correctly. But every time I go in Kristy gets my hair just right everytime. I give this place a 10/10

Abhinaya Gyawali I had a good haircut previously and so I went again. But this time, the cut was terrible. She didn’t cut the front hair evenly. Furthermore, she didn’t cut evenly at the back also. They have a high price compared to other salon but the service doesn’t match that price.

Littleherbalistruby They did beautiful I have no words, God gave them a gift from going from multiple shades of old faded box dye,henna and Virginia hair and made it into a beautiful ginger the first round and fair priced for the hard work! You have a new customer!

Danielle Vanhousen My hair is thick and wavy. I went with the want of a cut to enhance the wave and texture. This did not happen. The layers are very choppy and this is very noticeable if it is straightened per the picture below. The hair dresser I saw told me multiple times my hair was straight and there was no wave or curl to it. Since my cut there I have found a hair dresser at another salon and she was able to listen and give me what I wanted. See second picture Thank you for my response to my review. I appreciate your acknowledgement of my dissatisfaction, but I feel it’s important to clarify a few points. The picture I posted was indeed taken at the end of the cut, pre-styling. Regarding the consultation, I remember clearly the stylist repeating my request back to me twice to confirm what I was asking for, which is why I was particularly disappointed with the outcome. I understand your preference for direct communication before leaving a review. However, as a customer who chose your salon based on other reviews, I felt it was important to share my honest experience to inform future potential customers. Reviews, both positive and negative, are crucial for maintaining transparency and helping businesses improve. I apologize if you feel my review was unfair; my intention was not to harm your business but to provide honest feedback about my experience. I hope this clarifies any misunderstandings. While I’m glad I’ve found a salon that meets my needs, I wish you the best in your future endeavors and hope this feedback can be used constructively.

Tracye Davis I had an amazing experience with Yulonda. I had a much needed brow service and I am delighted with the results. Yulonda was very professional and knowledgeable. I left feeling better informed on how to care for my brows. I will definitely be back. I highly recommend Yulonda and this beautiful salon.

Destiny Harris Zakiya at Columbus Skin Care Salon is absolutely phenomenal! This was by far the best Brazilian wax experience I’ve ever had. Zakiya was warm, professional, and made me feel completely comfortable from the moment I walked in. Her technique is incredibly gentle yet thorough, and she walked me through every step to make sure I was at ease the entire time. The salon itself is spotless and welcoming, and the atmosphere is both calming and clean—exactly what you want for a service like this. Stella McConnell Shera, is awesome!! She always does an amazing job with my color, cut and style!! I love her!! I always feel like movie star after being in her chair!! The salon is clean, open and has a great environment. I gave 5 stars!!!

Christina Phillips This is the best salon in Columbus hands down, its clean, everyone is super friendly and they have some of the best stylists, Rhonda cuts my hair and shes the best! I wont go anywhere else

Jason T Brought my daughter to get her hair colored. She did a good job. Took a couple hours but I think thats expected. She loves her hair and really likes the lady that worked with her.

Kathy Geiger I do not recommend! I asked Tori for a midnight blue and ended up with blue dye on my scalp and forehead, it stains pretty much all my pillows which I was warned about but my hair looks black. She was supposed to lighten my hair but took a shortcut and did a clarifying shampoo. And if u have any type of texture to your hair she won’t know how to blow dry it.

Ali Figueroa Brittany Smith has done an amazing job over the past year bringing my box dye black hair to a beautiful shade of blonde. She is super professional & easy going. I would highly recommend her for color correcting & highlights!

Brittanie Chavis Emily is the absolute best, not sure why I havent taken the time to review her but she is amazing. We have a 10+ year relationship and I love her so much I actually drive or fly to see her ever since I moved out of state. I know it sounds crazy but thats the level of trust we have and the level of color work she provides. Frankly Im long overdue for a visit but I will leave you with a few pics of her incredible work.

Taylor Dasinger I’ve known Sabrina for about 12 years now. I won’t let another soul on the planet touch my hair except this woman! Sabrina is patient and listens to anything and everything YOU want. I can’t express enough about the wonderful service I have received from her every time I’ve seen her since I met her 12 years ago. If you’re looking for a great stylist that will make you feel comfortable every time you’re in their chair, Sabrina is your girl! ALSO, she’s great with kids! My son (4) has had every hair cut since he was 1 by her and she’s the only person he will sit still for. Again, her patience speaks volumes! I could go on and on about what a wonderful person and stylist she is, but you’ll just have to figure it out for yourself!! *pictures of my wedding hair for reference!*

Vanessa Lewis Greg is precise with those cuts & styles. When you look at his work, you would think those styles are weaves. They are not! Those cuts are on natural or permed hair. Thats what makes him top-notch!

Sherry Lesesne Search no further….Greg is amazing!! This is the best haircut and style I have had in a long time. I wanted a short pixie cut and he styled my hair to exactly what I was expecting. Also, Ashley did an excellent job washing and coloring my hair. Not only is this place of business professional, it’s standard of excellence is prime. Highly highly recommend.

Tina Jackson On 6/11/2022, I was told by Assistant (Ms. Ashley) to owner of Elements of Style Hair Studio (Mr. Gregory Morgan), Id be charge $75  on 6/18/2022, for a set and cut. On 06/11/2022, the individual Ashley also stated if I wanted a deep conditioning treatment, set, and cut the cost would be $130. Note a set typically consists of shampooing the hair, putting in a conditioning treatment, applying a setting lotion, putting the hair in rollers, and drying it before shaping it into a soft curl style and/or a temporary style. On 06/18/2022, I was overcharged by $55 as I was charged $130 for a service I didnt receive. On 06/18/2022, I received a set and cut for $75 not a set, cut, and deep conditioning treatment for $130. On 06/18/2022, the owner Mr. Gregory Morgan repeatedly kept trying to sell me services (such as a relaxer and coloring) I felt as a customer I did not  need or request. When I declined Mr. Gregory Morgans suggestions he appeared upset. In my opinion,  it seemed to me Mr. Gregory Morgan was looking to make a certain amount money from me as a customer. On 06/18/2022, after Mr. Morgan set and trimmed my hair, he tried to take credit for the work another salon owner did to my hair (color, relax, and shaped my hair). He took photographs of the other salon owners work so that he could pass it off to future potential customes as if he performed the work (of coloring, relaxing, and shaping my hair). On 06/18/2022, Mr. Morgan also declined to provide me with receipt along with the breakdown of costs of services provided. Going back to the issue at hand. On 06/22/2022, I called Elements of Style Hair Studio. I spoke with the owner, Mr. Gregory Morgan. I attempted to ask for resolution to my problem. However, the owner was unreceptive to my position. In other words, on 06/22/2022, Mr. Gregory Morgan decline to honor the price ($75) that was quoted to me on 06/11/2022, by his Assistant Ms. Ashley. On 06/22/2022, Mr. Gregory Morgan declined to refund the $55 I was wrongfully overcharged. I was told on 06/22/2022, in more or less words by Mr. Gregory Morgan since the transaction of $130 posted to my checking account already tough luck for me. On this same day, I was also told some bizarre untrue story by Mr. Gregory Morgan that he charges $60 to trim womens hair and $70 for set. Note prices are not listed or posted on Elements of Style Hair Studios website, social media page, or in the salon itself for customers to review before purchasing services.

Heather Weihl Love this salon. TANYA is the best! She literally cuts my entire families hair, from our almost 3 year old to my 80+ year old grandmother. She is always friendly and excited to see you. Highly recommend her for cut and color. Plus she does great with curly or straight hair. And if I bring in a picture it always look just like it, she is also super honest and will let you know when a style is not for you which I appreciate. Awesome stylist!

Bell Pearl The moment I walked in the door I felt welcomed. I didnt catch the receptionists name but she was very welcoming. Tanya was the woman I had an appointment with. She was AMAZING!! She shared with me so much helpful information about hair health. And was very detailed in describing what she was doing as she cut my hair. I will be return to see. Tanya

Wanda Gray I love Shelonda! Shes a wonderful stylist with growing hands. A relaxing atmosphere that I dont mind driving for a hour to get my hair done. I cant say enough about this salon!

Shelley Lee Rachel is new to Sydneys and listened to what I wanted. ...pictures helped and she has good suggestions....highly satisfied and will be retur ing for my color ....salon is comfy and staff friendly!

Rosado Deborah (Debbie) The place is absolutely gorgeous and it has plenty of parking. It has a small bar at the entrance. There were two ladies in the building at the time and only the person that I had the schedule with, said hello. I’m assuming that the other lady was having a rough day. The person that was in charge of my hair was Ashley. She did an amazing job with my hair, and I can’t complain! I did have an issue : while I walked toward my car, my husband told me that my blouse had big black stains. I was extremely satisfied with my hair, but my $45 blouse was ruined and I had just paid $170 for my services. I just want the ladies to know that I will greatly appreciate if the ladies would pay more attention to detail. I will give them a second chance just because I felt comfortable and it was my first time.

Brandy Russell Perfect spot for a relaxing blowout. Friendly and welcoming environment. My daughter and I have used them for multiple events including banquets, weddings, and prom. They do an amazing job with styling and makeup applications. An added bonus is the bar serving beer, wine, and cocktails. Whether you are dropping in for a wash and style or needing a more formal updo, you will absolutely love this salon!

I’ve been getting different shades of reds for at least 10 years now and it can be really hard to get the exact red you love from a picture to show up the same on your hair. She totally nailed the color I wanted on the first try and listened to all my concerns and questions about color and styling. Definitely will be going back on a regular basis!
