Lisha Davis This has been the best dental experience I have had in a long time. Tonya was great and provided me with all the information I needed. She did not get tired of me asking questions. She also answered questions that I didnt even think to ask. While cleaning my teeth she kept my 7 month old busy and calm. She this a thorough cleaning, and I mean that my teeth felt great after she got done. Then Dr. Skinner came in and made sure she met me although she wasnt seeing me. I am so happy my husband took me here and I will definitely be back.

Tiaira Gregory I had my son, my husband, and my appointment today at 10 and 11 am. I scheduled this appointment last week. This was our first appointment. I got a text this morning saying my appointment is on the 7th same time. I have appointments that entire morning so I would not have scheduled appointments that day. I called to confirm. I was told my appointment is on the 7th. When I told the rep I could not do that date it’s supposed to be today he sd we schedule appointments months out so it’s saying that’s the day. He said it as if I should be grateful. When I tried to complain about the person that put my appointment in wrong he sd he was the manager and he would have to go up front to file a complaint. I sd do what we have to do so no one else will go through this. He argued back and refused to acknowledge my complaint. I told him to cancel the appointment I will find another dentist I will be writing a review. He did not care! No complaint filed.

The way that he treats you, how he explains, just the overall experience its wonderful. I no longer have insurance, I have to pay cash. His rates are very reasonable. Allison Morgan I have been going to Melvin Dentistry for years and their service is nothing short of AMAZING!! Dr Jay, Tricia and the entire staff is attentive, understanding and thoughtful. They listen to your needs and ask questions to make sure they understand. The cleanings always make me feel clean and whenever I have an issue, they get me in right away. Recently, I needed a crown and they got me in within 2 days and back to put it on in 2 weeks. I am so happy with the service they provide and will refer all of my friends!! The young lady that answered the phone when I called listened attentively to me as I tried to explain the level of pain I was experiencing. She informed me there was an open slot which was with two hours and got me scheduled right away. Dr Melvin is very thorough and the entire staff displays a high level of professionalism and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit.

Steve Farace Doc was not personable at all, didnt even introduce himself or talk to me about my medical history (tonsil cancer) to discuss history or short and long term needs. Just cruised in, mumbled a bunch to the hygienist, then left. I had to ask her what he was talking about. Checked out with an expensive treatment plan that Ill certainly get a 2nd opinion on. Wish he would have spent a few minutes with me, but I guess hes too busy. Looking for someone else.

Lindsay Burch I have been to over a dozen dentists in my lifetime and this was the best dental experience I have ever had! Everyone was super friendly, the office was clean, and I did not wait more than a minute for my appointment! Best part - no water spray on my face or bleeding gums. Dalton has expert skills when it comes to teeth cleaning and Dr Patty was knowledgeable and thorough. I was soooo impressed!

Laquanta Milton I absolutely love Cohen Dental. Everyone Ive contacted in the office has always been friendly, there isnt a long wait once your checked in and the office is fresh and comfortable. The practice is out of my insurance network but hes the only dentist in Savannah with a nerve stimulator wherein you cant feel that dreaded needle of lidocaine and thats a plus for me!

Paula Pottle This appointment was for cleaning but just the week before, I had cracked a molar. This office immediately found a spot for me so I could get a temporary fix. During my cleaning, Dr Cohen double checked to make sure all is well until I can get something permanent done. The dental hygienist, Janna, was lovely and very thorough. It’s always a pleasure going to this office. The team there are very efficient and really happy. I’m so glad I found them when I moved here 4 years ago.

Assaf Gleizner Very disappointed by the way the receptionist has handled my calls. I reached out to receive a second opinion after doing an exam with another clinic. The receptionist explained that they will still have to charge me for an entire exam even with me providing the X-rays and everything. After scheduling a time, I received a text the day of that my appointment was cancelled. Same receptionist claimed that she called and left a voice message which wasn’t true. I asked when the next appointment available will be and it wasn’t until 7 days from now. I tried to ask if there’s a way to maybe squeeze in a short appointment since again - all the X-rays were taken and her response was “you don’t have to do business with us, you can always go back to the original provider”. We ended the call and I thought I’ll try one more time to schedule. At that point the receptionist said they’re refusing to take me as a patient and claimed that I demanded the Dr. will see me even though she had a family emergency? As a small business owner myself with employees, I would never EVER say something like that to anyone, especially another professional. I have no idea how a phone call can get so misconstrued and why the receptionist treated me the way she did. I’m surprised that people who work at this profession don’t have more empathy towards prospective patients who are already in a situation that is uncomfortable for them, and instead of answering with compassion, they will be so apathetic. Unfortunately my insurance doesn’t give me that many options which I guess this practice is using as leverage for not putting that much effort into making their prospective patients feel like they’re walking into an understanding and welcoming environment. Hopefully I’ll be able to find an alternative that does

Chuck Mock Best dentist ever . Everyone that works there is super friendly. Ive never been to any other doctor that got my paperwork and had me in the chair working within 10 minutes of arrival. I highly recommend Savannah family dentistry to everyone but especially to people who are nervous or afraid such as myself .
