Alicia Benjamin My son attended this school last year. Hes in kindergarten in public school now, and they really prepared him. Hes one of the best readers in his class, and its thanks to the hard work of his teachers at the Benjamin Academy. The classes are small, which gives the kids more one on one attention. Theres also things like field trips and school pictures for the kids. The only thing Id add would be to have more parent involvement for things like class parties or opportunities to chaperone on field trips, but otherwise, Im grateful for how well they prepared my son for kindergarten.

androniquea arnold When you first enter the building there is a checkpoint which made me feel good about the safety of my child. The students and staff are all polite and want to see your child succeed. I love this school and all the information and tools they provide has assisted my family in our education journey. I know after choosing this school that all children are capable of learning they just need the correct tools and environment!!!! This academy provides that and more.

Muhammad Nasir The behavior of the owner is egregious. She doesn’t want parents to have direct contact with teachers, unless she’s included, as if she’s teaching students. She makes up rules as she goes, the policy manual doesn’t matter as she doesn’t adhere to her own written policies. She has made the environment very unwelcoming. This school has a very low retention rate for a reason. Dawn is impossible to get along with.
