Lacey Poulsen I have 3 kids attending Luella from 5 months to 8 years old. We have had a great experience and concerns are addressed when/if they arise. My kids seem to love their teachers and overall enjoy going to daycare. My only complaint is the red clay that ruins my 2 year olds clothes.

Angie I’m rating Sunbrook academy 5 stars solely on how happy my kids have been! Second on how nice/helpful the staff is! I have three boys who started here over 8 months ago and on my 5 years olds first day he told me “Mommy I love this school” my three sons have a blast year. They have many activities, my kids love the food, it’s clean, great outdoor play ground and the teachers are so loving and I can tell they love what they do. GA pre-k is amazing my son has gained so much knowledge. Truly a great place for kids and a relief for parents.

Jaquada Williams I have two children! My son has been attending Sunbrook since he was one and my daughter two months. We’ve had our growing pains, but overall this has been a great experience. My son loves going to school and loves his teachers.

Kirstie Amber Mrs. Kizzie is a great person to trust your kids with. You can tell she is passionate and really cares about the kids. They all love and trust her. Mrs. Anna is a great teacher; always pushing the kids to their full potential and creating new things for them to learn. Both ladies work very well together and create a positive atmosphere for the children.

Kelsey Eggink We enjoy Cedars McDonough and want to shout out the Infant A teachers. We love Ms Morgan! She is easy to talk to, genuinely cares for our son, and always informs us about his day with detailed reports. Ms Gabby always greets us with a smile and Ms Jasmine always gets his day off to a good start. When we requested more updates throughout the day they worked on it and have improved. Thank You Cedars Staff!

Wynter Davenport First and foremost I would like to acknowledge Miss T and Aanyah for always making my baby feel loved. Whether she’s coming or going, she wants to make sure she says hello! Always seems to be in good spirits and are very helpful anytime I have questions. Omg!!! I love 3b prek, Miss Cox class!! I love the way Ms Bree, Ms Mariah and Ms Cox handles Wynter. She can be a lot a times but the patience and love they show, makes me feel at ease. It’s hard trusting your kids with others but they really make me feel that I can and that she’s well taken care of!! Thank you Cedars McDonough..

Jasmine Browne As a parent, Big Blue Marble Academy makes the Safe Environment for Growth so meaningful was knowing my child is not only learning but truly thriving. The school creates a space where students feel emotionally safe, respected, and encouraged to be themselves. I’ve seen my child grow in confidence, build positive friendships, and come home excited about learning. The open communication between staff and families also gave me peace of mind—we felt like true partners in our child’s growth. It’s comforting to know they’re in an environment where both their hearts and minds are nurtured.

Kelly Coleman My grandson has been attending Big Blue Marble Academy on Hwy 155 McDonough since August 2022. Michelle and the staff are great. I never worry about communication between the staff calling me if needed and the Procare app I keep up with whats going on with my grandson. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this daycare to anyone who needs childcare. He loves it there.

Tuti Smith Smith Prime care learning center is amazing. They have amazing teachers and Directors. I love how when you walk in the building it’s clean and fresh. I love how the teacher interacts with the children. Everyday my girls can talk about things they learned at daycare. The daycare has completely changed education wise . I love the team that they have and how they put the children first .

Tammy Canty My son was sent here by LGMS for an ARGUMENT with another student. Which was already bad enough. They don’t offer transportation all over the county so you have to drive your child here. Whoever is making the policies at this school is very inconsiderate of the parents that have to drive from all over the county to bring their child here. After 8:30 they won’t let your child in the building at all. Wouldn’t it make more sense to require a parent to sign them in after a certain time? Not lock them out. As if they drove themselves there. A lot of parents have other kids to take to school and daycare first. A lot of parents are driving from far out to get there. Then on top of that they’re taking your child’s lunch or snacks and throwing it in the trash. They don’t allow them to bring water but the teachers don’t let them go get water or even use the restroom.

Kevin MB Dr. Isom and supporting staff members made my childs 3 day journey here a life adding experience. The level of professionalism and individual care displayed toward myself and my daughter is something I will always reflect on.

tesha owens My son was sent to Excel Academy for having to defend himself for an incident he had nothing to do with, he only can do online schooling but I must say this has been a blessing in disguise. The whole staff from the front office, teachers and counseling staff has been nothing but caring, understanding and helpful to my son and myself. When I say they stay on the kids and find ways to make things better, I wish all school were like this. One thing about it is if a child fails while going to Excel Academy it’s because they honestly didn’t try. My son went in at the begging of the school year so due to him missing lots of days due to the incident his grades were very low, Excel Academy staff poured into him and got him back to where he needed to be. We still have some work to do but they gave him the hope and peace of mind that it’s not too late and that help is available if he was willing to do the work. I use to ask why did this happen to my son but god work in mysterious ways. All I can say is THANK YOU Excel Academy staff the whole staff ROCKS!

TQuay Waters This was my first time putting my kids in daycare & I was so nervous. But after meeting Ms.Stacey & seeing how she really cares for the children , I felt so much relief. She communicates well she keeps you informed about your child day to day needs & even takes initiative to get to know the parents which is important.. she is literally 1 of 1 .... MY DAUGHTER & I highly recommend ❤️

Kiara Teague did y’all not peep that most of these reviews are old?? yeah, this needs to updated ASAP! I was sent here as a substitute teacher 4/15/2025 and I’m gonna tell you right now, if your child is between the ages 1-2 years old, they’ll never have a permanent teacher in room 114 until Mr.Washington decides to hire someone. But with his hostile demeanor and attitude, I doubt anybody will ever stay. There was NO structure, NO lesson plan, NOTHING! A substitute should NOT be thrown in a class by themselves knowing the class has 8 or more kids. And the kids are NEVER the problem, but if they’re used to seeing a new teacher everyday, that can make the job challenging. Miss.Berry was trying to be cool, but I see right through her. She never put my paperwork in the system so legally, I wasn’t supposed to be back there in that class. The state can walk in at any time and that establishment would’ve been done! PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU SEND YOUR KIDS TO, ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT EVERYTHING AND TRUST YOUR GUT!

Mrs. DeliciaMechelle I am so happy to have Ms.Stacey as my son’s teacher. Ever since she started she has been a breath of fresh air. She takes care of my child as if he’s her own and not to mention how my baby runs to her every morning when I drop him off. The best teacher my baby has ever had literally!

7.Wesley Lakes Academy Incorporated

Address: 1015 McDonough Pkwy, McDonough, GA 30253

(22) Reviews Wesley Lakes Academy Incorporated:

Onyeji Nnenna “Nena” The staff appears to be extremely pleasant and nice . Tonya is very friendly . My 1 year old never started . I had two major concerns after observing in the classroom. 1. There’s a major lack of diversity in teachers and staff with classrooms full of black children . 2. Hygiene in the classroom: There was about 6 children in the busy 1 year old classroom with very snotty noses running down to their chin. Understandable, but I didn’t seen any Kleenex, Lysol wipes, spray or anything . My daughter came to observe the classroom on Friday, and the sick children ran up to her and were coughing directly in her face with zero redirection from the teachers to teach them to cover their mouth or anything . By Sunday, my daughter was just as sick as the kids with snotty noses running down to their chin. It didn’t appear that their noses had been wiped , at all, all day. The second thing I saw in a 10 min observation was a teacher changing a diaper while the infant was standing up. I do not think you can properly clean a diapered baby while standing to get in the crevasses. I didn’t see her wiping the child, at all. These things were too concerning for my daughter to start. I do think that they are friendly staff but overall just didn’t meet the standards for me to trust my daughter was being cared for like I would like her to be.

Shundrea Brown The BEST daycare in McDonough! My son has been attending this daycare for SEVERAL years and I have not had 1 complaint. He comes home happy and talks about his teachers and friends everyday. He has learned so much while at Wesley Lakes Academy. The staff treats the children like their own and you can tell its GENUINE. I would highly recommend this daycare!! I wish I could give this facility 10 stars because I would! Thank you to the entire Wesley Lakes Academy Family for making it EASY for me to leave my son in your care!

Erin Bryant My child has attended WLA for over five years. We love all of the staff and am very proud of how much she has learned while attending. From the structured class work to all of the fun art projects, my little one loves her time spent at the center. I love how sweet the staff is and how much they care for my child. It makes work easier knowing that my daughter is safe and happy while I am not with her.

telecia dunbar Love love LOVVVVE this school for my baby boy! The owner Mrs.Miller is truly a blessing in disguise, she had only one spot left at her preschool and my son was able to fill with no issues at all. Mrs.Miller is so hands on she’s extremely dependable. My baby boy has adapted extremely well here at Mcdonough Montessori and the staff does amazing with him! He wasn’t really speaking and having many words before enrolling here. I do travel a bit of a distance but it’s because this is the school of my dreams for my son. When I first toured the building I literally fell in love! The previous school my baby was enrolled in he got sick from being there only TWO DAYS.. and the sickness lasted TWO WEEKS, its been TWO MONTHS and not one sickness for this family!! With that being said the facility is super clean and that makes this momma very happy. Thank you Ladies so much for having, teaching, and loving my baby Mr.Z! Special shout out to Miss Tam! She’s so great at listening and understating the things that I bring to her knowledge… THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TEACHING MY BOY!!

I love how they asses the children on an educational level and will move them up in class early if they have the skills. Bring your kids here you won’t regret it !

Lisa White We have 2 kids (ages 3 and 4) at MPCA right now and are super happy with how they are well cared for and how they are developing new skills. The staff goes the extra mile to make sure they feel loved. The school directors are very professional and the staff does an amazing job planning fun and educational activities. One thing I really like is that my sons teacher has a Shutterfly page to share pictures, the class calendar, and a weekly summary of what they are working on. As a working mom, it is nice to be able to see what is going on in his classroom. MPCA plans many activities throughout the year to promote family involvement, such as the Mothers Tea, Grandparents Brunch, and Pastries for Pop. My kids look forward to these things each year. I cant say enough great things about MPCA!

Lauren Barefield Absolutely adore this preschool. The director is fantastic and sincerely cares for each individual child as well as cares for her teachers and staff. The teachers are all amazing and the way they teach is ALL hands on learning!! My girls have made SOOOO much progress( including one of mine with a speech disability). I am so thankful for MPCA!

Kara Anderson I have 2 children attending MPCA, and could not be happier. I have seen both of my children blossom and grow as individuals, and develop a passion for learning. My son is currently in his second year here (began in the 2 year old class and is currently in the 3 year old class), and was rather reserved and quiet when he started and I have seen his vocabulary and ability to interact and express himself improve beyond my wildest expectations. My daughter is in the 1 year old class just 1 day a week, and that small exposure has allowed her to better express herself, follow directions, and interact with other children and adults on an amazing level. I plan for both children to continue through Kindergarten at MPCA because the small class size, amazing teaching staff, and wonderful curriculum truly develops an excitement for lifelong learning. MPCA is a wonderful school.

We love how they keep us updated and involved with their events and upcoming projects. There is open communication between the teachers, administrators, and parents, which is key to a childs success. Thank you MMA for all you do for our children!

Alicia Benjamin My son attended this school last year. Hes in kindergarten in public school now, and they really prepared him. Hes one of the best readers in his class, and its thanks to the hard work of his teachers at the Benjamin Academy. The classes are small, which gives the kids more one on one attention. Theres also things like field trips and school pictures for the kids. The only thing Id add would be to have more parent involvement for things like class parties or opportunities to chaperone on field trips, but otherwise, Im grateful for how well they prepared my son for kindergarten.

androniquea arnold When you first enter the building there is a checkpoint which made me feel good about the safety of my child. The students and staff are all polite and want to see your child succeed. I love this school and all the information and tools they provide has assisted my family in our education journey. I know after choosing this school that all children are capable of learning they just need the correct tools and environment!!!! This academy provides that and more.

Muhammad Nasir The behavior of the owner is egregious. She doesn’t want parents to have direct contact with teachers, unless she’s included, as if she’s teaching students. She makes up rules as she goes, the policy manual doesn’t matter as she doesn’t adhere to her own written policies. She has made the environment very unwelcoming. This school has a very low retention rate for a reason. Dawn is impossible to get along with.

Eric Bridwell St. James Preschool is a wonderful place to entrust your childs development with a wonderful team of skilled and loving teachers, led by an even more qualified Director. My Son attended St. James Preschool when he was 2 and within the first week, his vocabulary exploded! He continued to attend the preschool until 2020 and is now in kindergarten. My sons development was accelerated during his time at St. James Preschool, and I cannot give the school, its teachers, and Director higher praise! A+++

Kelley Hoffman I enrolled my first child here in 2010 for pre-k 3, and then pre-k 4. When it came time to enroll my second child last year, we had not only moved further away from the church, but also had a special set of circumstances concerning this child. I did research other Christian preschools closer to my home, but quickly learned that St. James was the most willing to meet our needs. My daughter went from having huge insecurity issues to becoming a truly fetching, and out going 4 year old. The director and teachers love what they do! The proof has been evident in my children For my family, the extra travel time has been well worth it!!!!

Kenzie Bosworth One star is too much. These foul and unGodly people should not even be allowed to run a preschool. They treat children like animals if their parents arent part of their little cult. They do not like when parents talk to each other or settle disagreements between kids amongst themselves. Its not just the school that it the problem. The people are cold shouldered, lie spewing, and small minded towards everyone. The way these people acted made me hate church and anything to do with it for a very long time. If you love yourself and your family, avoid any contact with the Sharon people.
