laila I have been a student here for 3 years and I have really regret making the choice of going to this school. This is my last year, and I am happy about it. I have gotten really bad anxiety and depression from the three I have been here. I have to leave this school because of my grades, and it is not my fault. This school provides no help when it comes to kids who learn in different ways that they have to learn. They teach their lesions too fast for their kids to learn them and understand them, and they give too many tests in one week! I have really been suffering since I have started this school. Please do not put your kids in this school! It will make their lives so much harder!

Daisy Mills Definitely has some of the most skilled, efficient, talented, professional, upmost qualified, and brilliant Fine Arts Educational staff to teach children. However, Academic Educational staff not so much. Academics aside this school is an excellent school for children leaning towards the fine arts.

Tara Pegg-Furby Quite simply the very best school you could EVER wish your child could be lucky enough to get to. It’s tough it’s hard … but oh my gosh it’s amazing. The teachers are not just teachers. They are inspiring and I thank them for the most wonderful six years you gave us. Thank you. I can not imagine a better experience. You helped to make my son the man he is. I also wanted to add that my son came from five years at Augusta prep but struggled for his first year at Davidson. This school is tough. But it’s so worth it. It breaks my heart that he’s graduating this year.

Rochelle lovelace My review is for the Career Education training classes held at the job connect in Grovetown. The Administrative Assistant trainer was the worst trainer ever. They are so unprofessional it just doesnt make sense. She stayed on her phone, she was working another job during class time, gave wrong information, did not teach or train read from a manual, no hands on for Excel and Word. Dont go!!

Zandra Butler School is overall a good school and i have found a pretty good jobs after going there. I only give the school 3 stars cause of the teachers. Majority of the teachers are amazing teachers on the medical side but with being amazing there’s 1 teacher that is full of drama and that has there picks. There is a thick line between professional and personal.

C Ski I hope this review finds you well, this year has been such a blessing to my family. My kids have all enjoyed the experience inside the walls of your school… lower, middle, and upper. I have watched as my kids have short comings, gown, and then excelled. Your staff has done nothing but provide positive feedback and support through it all. My teaching philosophy has always been to provide my students with the resources to learn and let their imaginations go wild… be the guide on the side, rather than the “teach it one way” kind of teacher. I see that with your school, with your staff, and with your teachers. My lower school twins have become more independent and found their own ways to learn. My middle school child is developing more confidence in her studies as well as sports, and my upper school student feels like she fits right in. I highly recommend Augusta Prep at all levels!!

Angela Rimington If you meet the students of Augusta Prep you will immediately know there is something special about this school. They are highly intelligent, well-spoken, and personable. And, if thats not enough, the faculty members are just as wonderful. They are experts in their fields, clearly passionate about their work, and have rich relationships with the young people they mentor. What a place! Families lucky enough to secure a seat for their children here will be so glad they chose APDS!

Chloe Joniec So glad we found Augusta Prep prior to relocating to GA. The small class sizes, ability to play sports as a freshman, and college-like campus have served our son well this past school year. We are looking forward to another 3 years of top-notch academics and athletic opportunities.

thiccums A lot of us purposefully get sent there due to the teachers at our home school, its easier, you go 4 days a week and dont do much work because of the constant outburst from other children in the classroom. I was out from school with drs notes and my mom tried to get a conference at my other school when we got progress reports. She got one a week before report cards. I went back to avoid a grade I did not deserve. I knew I could do it at the alt school. I did not listen to my mom about an incomplete especially when the teacher said she would be there the next week and was not. I gave up and went where it seems like they care about you more, THE ALT SCHOOL YES I WENT BACK ON PURPOSE BECAUSE MY TEACHER WOULD NOT HELP ME I WAS OUT 20 DAYS WITH A DRS EXCUSE, WHAT IS HER EXCUSE?

Marcella Yox This school were at the EdVenture museum in Columbia SC and it was the worst behaved group of children and teachers ive ever seen. I feel bad for the parents who send their children there. The teachers didnt care at all. Kids were out of control and bullying our children. Absolutely shameful conduct from the staff. Its so sad to see todays youth are so disrespectful of other people and public property.

Christy Arrington Great loving environment for kids to learn and grow. Teachers and staff are amazing. The Classical education has far exceeded my expectations. So thankful for this school and it’s vision for our children to have a sound and meaningful education.

Teresa DeCarmen Where many schools are de-emphasizing memorization, the classical model capitalizes on this natural ability in grammar school (K-6). At breakfast, my second grader organized paint swatches by hue and value (instead of telling me "light to dark") and my kindergarten broke into a song about the 7 elements of art. Ive studied art for many years and dont recall memorizing these until middle school. To see my childrens comprehension as a result of memorizing jingles and rhymes, tells me this learning environment is building a great foundation for the future. We also love how the Head of School takes the time to know each childs and familys name and greets them on a first name basis in the morning. To be seen is an awesome feeling even as the school continues to grow.
