Christina K The facility is clean and convenient, staff is friendly, the pool and changing areas are comfortably warm. However, I am embarrassed to admit how much time and $$$$ our family has wasted bringing my kid here to try to learn to swim, without any success. The method they use may work for some children but it did not work for our child. Other than that one method, they had nothing else to offer. The instructors, although they were very nice, did not seem motivated at all in getting my child to swim independently. Of the 30 minutes long lesson, children were only spending a few minutes total each on swimming, and the rest of the time they were sitting at the edge and chatting. After almost 2 years of weekly lessons, my child was still not any closer to knowing how to swim then when he started. We then finally switched to the YMCA swim classes where after only 3 weeks (2 weeks of group lessons and 2 private lessons) my child is now able to swim across the pool all on his own.

Ashlea Wright Weve been with dolphin academy for 6 months. Faculty and staff are friendly. However if you want your child to advance in swimming good luck. My daughter is a good strong swimmer and was advancing at the YMCA after every class. At dolphin I was there for 6 months and no advancement and they do the same thing every class. I would love for my daughter to be on a team but I felt like dolphin academy was holding her back and not teaching her the new skills she needs.

Rochelle lovelace My review is for the Career Education training classes held at the job connect in Grovetown. The Administrative Assistant trainer was the worst trainer ever. They are so unprofessional it just doesnt make sense. She stayed on her phone, she was working another job during class time, gave wrong information, did not teach or train read from a manual, no hands on for Excel and Word. Dont go!!

Zandra Butler School is overall a good school and i have found a pretty good jobs after going there. I only give the school 3 stars cause of the teachers. Majority of the teachers are amazing teachers on the medical side but with being amazing there’s 1 teacher that is full of drama and that has there picks. There is a thick line between professional and personal.

Stephanie Porter Our experience with JFBC preschool has been nothing short of amazing! From the very beginning, the teachers and staff have been incredibly supportive, catering to our daughter’s individual needs with such kindness and care. Their nurturing environment has helped her blossom both socially and educationally. She has grown in confidence, made wonderful friends, and is always excited to go to school—all thanks to the sweet and dedicated teachers who truly pour their hearts into their work. We are so grateful for this preschool and highly recommend it to any family looking for a loving and enriching place for their child to grow!

Rachel Delaney Our son has been at First Baptist Jefferson Preschool for the last two years and we couldn’t be happier! He has grown in many ways both academically and socially! He was nervous to start preschool, but they made it such a smooth transition for him from day one. The building is clean and secure. The teachers and directors communicate very well with the parents. They plan engaging lessons and fun events for families to attend!

Katie Beamish We absolutely love this preschool! The teachers are amazing with our energetic boys, providing them with plenty of outlets for their energy while still creating a structured and nurturing learning environment. They have learned so much—letters, numbers, animals, and most importantly, about Jesus. The transition from being home with Mommy full-time was a big change, but the staff was incredibly supportive and welcoming, making it a smooth and positive experience for our whole family. We’re so grateful for this school and highly recommend it!

Katelynn Pilgrim Really was the BEST decision we’ve ever made for our child! They made the process of transferring from an out of county public school to them easy and successful. And we already see SIGNIFICANT signs and improvements in our child’s education and attitude towards school!

Jennifer Ellis Soar Academy is not just an amazing school but it is the single best decision we made by enrolling our child! He is doing so well and in such a short amount of time he has had so much improvement academically as well as socially! The teachers and staff are dedicated to the children and making sure that they are receiving the best education possible and that they are happy while learning. We are PROUD to be a part of the Soar Academy Family!

jo white My son did well his first year. His reading improved. I thought we had found the perfect school. After the school won the Yass prize, things were down hill from there. Old teachers were leaving and new teachers were coming and were not staying long. The owner was more focused on doing things outside of the school(traveling) to get her name out there and not helping the kids in the classroom. The leadership began to slack and there was less accoubtability of the staff. The field trips became less by the second year. I stepped in to plan some field trips. The teachers began just printing worksheets off for the kids and making the kids learn the information themselves especially in Science and Math. The kids were not learning anything in science-- it was not a hands on science class. The science class was too advanced for a middle school child. The teacher was teaching all the middle schoolers and high schoolers the same curriculum for chemistry.Do not believe everything you read on the website. Please go and observe the school for yourself . Do not take your childs word for what they do on trial days. Please make sure you observe for yourself. This is suppose to be a school for neurodivergent population and none of the staff or teachers have any special education degrees in this field. My child had hard time dealing with puberty during his third year and dealing with peer pressure and negative influences from other students at the school. As a result, the school decided to put my child out without any warning -- or parent conferences by sending me an email and giving me some medical advice .Not to mention, no one at the school has any psychology psychiatric , counseling or special education degrees. You cannot give a parent any advice like this if you are not qualified. Please do your homework before you pay for this school. This may or may not be the best option for your child. The school concept for neurodivergent population is good , however they need more qualified staff with degrees in that field in order to provide the kids with the education they deserve. The owner cannot run a school in Augusta while being a resident of another state. She tried to hire someone to be the principal this year and he did not even stay the full year. While he was there, one of the teachers quit, so he had to take over the teacher role.

Natalie Diel Absolutely love this place! Our son has been thriving since starting here, we’ve seen such a huge improvement in him from leaving his last daycare. The classrooms are well structured and the staff is so nice and welcoming.

Shakia Jones I had a very disappointing experience with Storybrook Academy, and unfortunately, it did not meet the expectations I had for my childs care and development. From the beginning, the environment felt unwelcoming and the staff, while outwardly friendly, appeared disengaged and insincere. The atmosphere was not conducive to fostering growth or enrichment for children, which ultimately led to our decision to withdraw. We were also concerned by the inconsistent application of policies and procedures, which seemed to change without clear communication or justification. Despite raising our concerns several times, we did not receive a meaningful response or see any immediate action taken to address them. I had hoped for a nurturing and supportive environment for my son, but unfortunately, that was not our experience at Storybrook Academy. Based on our time there, I cannot recommend this daycare. If this facility is your first choice or only option, I suggest continuing your search elsewhere.

Christy Arrington Great loving environment for kids to learn and grow. Teachers and staff are amazing. The Classical education has far exceeded my expectations. So thankful for this school and it’s vision for our children to have a sound and meaningful education.

Teresa DeCarmen Where many schools are de-emphasizing memorization, the classical model capitalizes on this natural ability in grammar school (K-6). At breakfast, my second grader organized paint swatches by hue and value (instead of telling me "light to dark") and my kindergarten broke into a song about the 7 elements of art. Ive studied art for many years and dont recall memorizing these until middle school. To see my childrens comprehension as a result of memorizing jingles and rhymes, tells me this learning environment is building a great foundation for the future. We also love how the Head of School takes the time to know each childs and familys name and greets them on a first name basis in the morning. To be seen is an awesome feeling even as the school continues to grow.
