Mary Wright Toccoa Baptist church is a warm friendly church. I have enjoyed visiting the church when I’m in town visiting my kids.

Julia Waitt I drove 3 hours to visit my sister’s church because of the difference I’d seen in her life after being there. I was late and came in at the end of worship, I immediately felt the Holy Spirit there. This was followed up by a very solid message on worship. Afterwards everyone ate together in fellowship. If you’re in Toccoa and you’re looking for real life Jesus, this is where you should go.

Labs Our Lovable Great church! Very family oriented too. There are kids classes, a nursery and many activities for them. The pastor and his family are wonderful people that love the Lord. Melanie Hart-Weed This is a wonderful Holy Spirit filled Godly Truth speaking church. They are more like family. Everyone is welcome! No judgement whatsoever. You can come as you are or dress up. Choice is yours. When you walk in the atmosphere is amazingly fresh and annointed. If I lived nearby I would make this my home church. Before my precious sister Teresa Hart passed away-this was her home church and where she was married. I love these sweet people.... and you will too!

Ken Helmer My wife and I were looking for a new church home and we landed at New Hope Baptist Church. From the first moment we walked in the door we felt welcomed and comfortable. The teachings are straight from scriptures, undiluted. The various ministries are vibrant. I was much impressed with the energy of the youth at the church. A sure sign of the importance the church places on the spiritual development of its young people. All in all its just a fine place to worship!

Pat Pillsbury Toccoa First Methodist Music Ministry presented a Christmas Symphony Sunday on December 22, 2024. The service of sacred choral and orchestral selections was directed by Minister of Music Ken White. The 20 piece professional symphony orchestra was joined by the chancel choir, handbells, piano and organ. The program included traditional carols for the audience to sing, all accompanied by the orchestra. Pastor Brent White and Associate Pastor April Briant provided inspirational narratives as part of the program.

Adam Slide We came here for a daily mass while visiting the area, and its a nice little church. However, Im not a big fan of the TVs on the wall showing different pictures during mass. They were also used to show opening and closing prayers, which I guess is helpful, but I found them to be rather distracting. I would have preferred to just have a printout of the prayers instead.
