Aly This “church” is a horrible excuse for a place of worship. When I was in the youth group, we had a wonderful leader named Jon. This church allowed a random man to take his place without warning. This man, Sean McCoy, was so horribly judgmental in the youth group that I questioned my own faith and left the church. Another thing that made me leave this church is Tac Coley, the preacher. His sermons are AWFUL AND REPETITIVE. And he prays for about 20 minutes of his service so he doesn’t actually have to come up with anything new to say. He also cusses like a sailor. The sense of community is also just not there anymore. They allow anyone to be over anything and do a sucky job at it. They would rather lose valuable members than see how awful they really are. The preschool system is even worse somehow. They’ve lost all their long time teachers due to how bad it’s become. This place is honestly just a sad excuse for a “church” and a waste of space and resources. Church is supposed to be filled with love, compassion, and support for the members and the community. This place has somehow managed to discourage me and others from going to church and has made many of us question our beliefs. It’s a heartbreaking situation here really.

Angelo Bonito Great church where we attend when working as campground gate attendants on West Point Lake. Daily services help us attend mass when we are off which varies based on our schedule.

Joseph Unjakoti I was welcomed warmly approximately 20 years ago and this church family has become my family. It is filled with God loving, fun filled people who enjoy each others company and lift up their worship to the God most high every chance they get. We are further blessed with wonderful staff who go above and beyond in serving the church family and community. I recommend the church to anyone looking for a church home to worship. Check the videos of past services on the church website to get a feel for the Sunday morning services.

I have been a member of many congregations but we are home when we worship with Lafayette Church of Christ because they treat everyone as if they ARE someone. Each person is recognized as a soul and the brothers and sisters of this congregation do everything they can to minister to both body and soul! Children are welcome at grade level classes and all types of learning activities are present including year round Lads to Leaders training. Good solid conservative Church of Christ!
