1 /5 J. Ashley Panter: Tried to buy local and support a small business. Purchased some earrings as a gift, but they ended up being too long/dangly. So, I tried to return them a little over two weeks after I purchased them and was told that their return policy is no returns after two weeks and if they accept a return, it would only be for store credit.
So, not only did I try and support a local small business by purchasing very overpriced earrings, but now I’m stuck with a store credit to a store I no longer want to do business with.
I guess the joke is on me because they got my money one way or the other.
Beware! You better love what you buy… because “they ain’t takin’ it back!”
