5 /5 Francina Hicks: The Burlap Rose is always my "go to" for custom designs for special events as well as those unique accessories. The owner is professional and gives great one on one attention and experience and is always willing to work with my requests.

1 /5 Lindsay Morris: I used the burlap rose alterations for my wedding dress. I could go into detail on why I don’t recommend her but to keep it short. She is unorganized, she doesn’t answer calls, and I’m not sure she knows how to do alterations on wedding gowns . I took mine in for the gusset to be let out, for the waist to be brought in and sleeves to be shortened. The sleeves were the only thing done “well”. I use that lightly because there is black string through the sleeves now that wasn’t before… luckily it’s not so noticeable but why use black on a white dress? The dress is “tightened” but has material bunched together which causes it to not lay flat. She didn’t even touch the gusset. Not to mention when I went for fittings that’s I had to ask off from work for, she wasn’t ready or not there. Gave an excuse and said we could pick up my dress without paying the rest of the deposit. I have an unfinished dress and a month before my wedding. I do not recommend this shop for wedding gowns.
