1 /5 Chelsea Bowman: Following the clearly stated directions, I had ripped off the bottom part of the tag on a piece of furniture to purchase. The tag says “if the bottom part of the tag is missing, consider this item sold”. About 5 minutes after ripping the tag off, I went in line to purchase my item. The person in front of me had just been checked out by the cashier with the piece of furniture that I was holding the price tag for. I had spoken up and asked the cashier how they were selling that when I had the tag to purchase it? The cashier then chuckled and told me I should have said something sooner or they wouldn’t have sold it. I explained that I followed the directions on the tag and did exactly what I was supposed to do to purchase the item. Instead of just apologizing, the cashier continued to deflect stating that “yeah it says that but that’s not actually how it works”. I understand mistakes happen, but take accountability and just apologize instead of laughing and placing blame on the person who did follow the instructions given by Goodwill.

1 /5 Reagan west: I’ve been to this store since it’s opening. Never had an issues besides outrageous price which is everywhere nowadays. Today I was in there and was almost through with my shopping trip and decided to look at hats, I carefully looked through them and saw one that caught my eye. So I picked up the 4-5 hats that were on top of the specific hat I wanted to look at and sat them on the stack of hats next to it. A worker these proceeds to say “I just spent 30 minutes fixing all that.” and turned around because I didn’t fully understand what she said and asked “What did you say?” and she then crossed her arms and repeated “I just spent the last 30 minutes fixing all of those.” I was really appalled at her attitude and behavior. I’m unsure if she was trying to make a joke in defeat or if she was just being rude. I didn’t check her name tag, but she was a woman probably in her 50s with dark brown hair. I even fixed the hats (which is her job in all honesty) but needless to say I don’t think I will be returning. They really need to keep their employees in check because it was very uncalled for and quite honestly made me feel like I wasn’t welcome to shop. Very disappointed, as this was one of my favorite thrift stores in the area.

1 /5 Patriotic Heart: This place has become a joke. Dont waste your time unless you are interested in buying junk. We shop at Providence Ministries because they actually do help people who are down on their luck and give them a hand up and not a hand out. I know a couple of people theyve helped and they have gotten back on their feet. Its an awesome place and they are actually helping the community. I cant say enough good about them. Wonderful, kind, loving people.
