Sandy Valley Baptist Church - Warner Robins Mary Johnson: Though we were grieving over the loss of my husbands twin brother, and it had been a long time since we had visited Sandy Valley Baptist Church, we felt at home. The members are warm and welcoming. Pastor Phil presented a wonderful Spirit-filled message while staying true to Gods Word! We are grateful for Pastor Phil preaching Donald Johnsons funeral, giving the family comfort and for making himself available to meet the familys needs. We also thank Pastor Phil and Sandy Valley members for loving, ministering to and caring for my sister-in-law, who is a member of the church, for many years. We know she loves the members and pastor of the church, loves the fellowship and members of her Sunday School class and enjoys the worship services weekly.
Harvest Church - byron - Byron Charity Robertson: So, I read reviews and gave it a try. When my 3 year old was feeling overwhelmed everyone got in his face. (They were friendly but he would have relaxed if they let him process) I tried to hold him and let him adjust to the space, and was told how you have to pass a background check to be in the childrens area.... The hallway I got to walk the entire service looks like a fire trap (old cords plugged into an excessive amount of old outlet expanders, children exposed to a lot of wiring) I dont know who is in charge of corrupting this church with legalism, but they might want to look into that fire safety situation and ease up on nervous 3 year olds and their moms.
