Enjoyed the service songs sermon etc. God is going to continue to do great works with His house and the wonderful congregation. I’m just sorry that I can’t attend every Sunday because I’m a over the road truck driver but I’ll go on Sunday if I can if I don’t have to leave out then. This is my wife & daughters 3rd service today and it’d be a wonderful place to call a home church. I’ll pray for the church to continue to do Gods great works. Inez Higgins: My husband and I have been attending this church for about a year, along with my mother and aunt. Unfortunately, weve had a negative experience that has caused us to reconsider our involvement. During a recent service, I was approached by an usher after taking communion and returning to my seat. I was told rather abruptly that I was not allowed to consume the communion bread at my pew and that it must be eaten at the altar. While I understand that different churches may have different practices, I found the interaction to be unnecessarily harsh and uncomfortable. I’ve taken communion in this manner for years and have never encountered such an issue before. While I respect the churchs traditions, the overly strict enforcement of this rule and the way it was communicated left a lasting negative impression. I would encourage the church leadership to consider how such matters are handled in the future, to ensure that members and visitors feel welcomed rather than scrutinized.
