Vogel State Park - Blairsville (GA)

5 /5 N U: Stayed here for an extended weekend in Cabin 28 with the family. The check in and out process was easy and our cabin had everything we needed. We had a great time. The park is well maintained with clean facilities. Various levels of trails for hiking or running enthusiasts. There is also 18 holes of mini golf and paddle boating (seasonal). Definitely will visit again.

5 /5 Linda O: Lovely state park in the North Georgia Mountains. Large, well maintained campground, many spots with full hookups. All sites had a picnic table, grill and a fire pit. This would be a great site for family reunions or people traveling together as numerous sites are clustered together in groups of 3 or 4 sites. Walking trails were decent although the 2 we choose werent particularly well marked. We used our trekking poles to assist navigating rain slick rocks and tree roots. Dont miss the hike around the lake that goes down to the spillway created waterfall. A Civilian Conservation Core (CCC) museum was interesting to visit and a huge new Visitors Center is being built. The staff were friendly and helpful.

5 /5 Wind Tree Studios: So nice to experience and enjoy this proud and patriotic State Park that was creat during the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) era of the Great Depression. Still beautiful and inviting, this location has served generations of people as a relaxing and scenic get away offering a beautiful lake, hiking, a waterfall and camping.

5 /5 Brittany B: This is a great state park to go spend the day at. We saw they have a little gift shop store that you can also rent stuff from like putt putt to several other things. They have a easy short walking trail around the water and makes a circle. Theres also a trail to a gorgeous waterfall too. Saw many people fishing, swimming, renting kayaks, and paddleboats. Looks like they have pavilions and cabins to rent. They have new construction going on, a larger building.

5 /5 J TC: Stayed at this park on a multi state trip doing some camping. Very clean park and facilities. Park was quiet and staff was super friendly. Plenty of activities to enjoy from a small mini golf, to kayaking, hiking, and even a church worship service on Sunday. Will definitely be coming back here again.
