1 /5 Lucky: THE WORST ULTA. I went in for a simple exchange, and Ranae turned it into the most excruciating experience. When I approached the counter, I greeted her and only got a death stare and eye roll. I explained what I needed, and she was so rude and condescending. She kept demanding I hand over a bar code for her to pull up my order, when I told her I didnt have that but had my order number she rolled her eyes and yelled at me saying "well thats what I was asking for." She never mentioned an order number, only a bar code. She was floundering through the exchange and had to keep asking other associates for help because she did not know how to process the exchange. Ranae should be grateful for her job because I highly doubt she is qualified for something requiring higher complexity.
While other associates were helping her, she began growing impatient and angry. She misdirected her frustration towards me, I was quietly waiting for my painful transition to be over. She made snarky and unwarranted comments towards me, and I began to fear for my own safety and well-being. I have never been accosted by any customer service rep in my life.
I have worked in customer service for years, and I have never treated anyone as Ranae treated me. Ill be looking into submitting an official complaint to Ulta.
