1 /5 Chey Hernandez: UPDATE: I called in and was told to come back for a new set, however I don’t live in town and cannot come back. I prefer my refund or I will file a complaint. This is unacceptable!
I visited this salon two days ago around 11 am and spent $70, but unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The staff did not make me feel welcomed. The technician performing my pedicure was rough and repeatedly moved my foot abruptly, even when I simply placed it in the water. I mentioned that the water was too hot, but she ignored my request until another staff member intervened. She as live streaming on Red Note and acted as I disturbed her day.
The technician working on my nails rushed through the process. He did not ask for my preference regarding nail length, and instead, cut them without measuring. Due to time constraints, I didn’t want to have him re-glue them. I was disappointed that my cuticles weren’t trimmed and my nails weren’t filed underneath. Once the nails were glued, he quickly applied the acrylic without proper attention to detail. Although the salon had just opened, the service felt rushed and incomplete. My nails were filed too quickly and unevenly, and I noticed bubbles in the gel polish. He didn’t cure them the full time and told me he was done. My nails are already lifting, my cuticles weren’t moisturized, my toenails were also not shaped or filed at all. Not even a finishing coat! The equipment isn’t even being sanitized for the next client!
Overall, I was extremely dissatisfied with the quality of the service and would not recommend this salon. There are many other salons in the area that offer better experiences and actual professionalism with nail techs who are more skilled. I am requesting compensation for this or I’ll be filing a complaint with the board.
