Stone Edge Church - Macon (GA)

1 /5 Joe Dragonstone: So my car has broken down, had to pull into this churches parking lot and wait for a tow truck. Sat here for 2 hours waiting, need to use the restroom real quick, they inform me that "there are children here and the director says no" where else am I supposed to go? I thought Christians are supposed to help people in need and spread the gospel. They took one look at me, judged me by my appearance, and decided it wasnt safe for a person in need to use their restroom for 20 seconds. Looks like this is not a place I would ever recommend anyone to attend. Thanks for doing the opposite of what Jesus would do

1 /5 Jody: Note: I have not attended this as a church! That being said I visited as a delivery driver and it left me feeling like this isnt a place I would want to visit. The order was quite large that I was delivering. The directions stated "leave at door" So as a delivery person, when no specific door is noted, I will always use the front door. So, after a few trips of carrying large items up a long uphill walkway, someone came out to unkindly inform that I was supposed to use the side door. How would I know if its not stated in my delivery instructions? They did bring a cart to help get the rest which was appreciated but the attitude was not Godly at all. I know we cant all be perfect all the time, but when you are operating as a representative of a church, the love of God should be showing. Here I am as a grieving mother who lost her oldest son 2 years ago trying to make a little money to help feed my family and I get this treatment from someone at a church? Even with all I am dealing with I try to treat everyone with kindness and respect the best I can. I certainly didnt leave feeling I could go to this place to find love and healing for my broken heart. Its just disheartening the state of the church.
