3 /5 Hilary Cable: It has an historical landmark placard, but has been chewed up pretty badly by careless AC installation and additions to the building over the years. Its in need of a thorough restoration that is probably impossible financially. Interesting quirk: has two narthexes, originally one for women, one for men, according to our tour guide. That seems unlikely as Christians dont separate men and women in the pews. Why would they come in separate doors only to have to find their families and proceed to the pew together? But, worth stopping when in historic Gainesville.

5 /5 Richard Lemire: Nice little church. Went for my friend and neighbors memorial service, and came back with a New American Legion member and chaplain for our post! Also learned they have a soup kitchen which we can get involved with.
