Squirrel Ridge Park - Gainesville (GA)

4 /5 Raegan Simpson: It was a great park to play kickball. I didnt use the playground, yet there was one. I dont recall using the restrooms. Spent a couple hours with 50 of my closest friends having a kickball tourney and eating lunch. Several benches to sit at and ample parking.

5 /5 Aeotas: A nice little park. Newer Playground for kids, exercise equipment, large fenced and partitioned dog park in the back. If you take a shortcut through woods you can walk the (sometimes dusty) beautiful live Oak-canopied SW 17th Terrace road as well. Read the historic marker as you enter the park. The land the park sits on, as well as the Idylwild neighborhood, elementary school, and huge amount of land all the way to I-75 and Paynes Prairie is the site of former Seranola Plantation. History and its harsh lessons are everywhere if you care to look.

5 /5 Madelize McCandless: Its free! Has lots of space to roam, some agility items, poop bags, water bowls and an off ground spray station with a hose!

5 /5 Sadie Grace: Really nice dog park. A few acres fully fenced with doggie pools, old growth trees, a few shady areas to sit for the peeps. There are areas of sand, grass, and dirt, agility equipment and a separate small dog area. I appreciate how large this is as my dog loves to run. There is also a wash station at one of the exits. There is water in buckets around. Very clean, I did not see any unclaimed poop.

5 /5 Moonlight Gypsy: Great park for kids, adults and dogs. I gave it a five, but there are no bathrooms. The playground equipment is fantastic. Well maintained, clean and up to date. And a nice pad underneath. There is a walking path and a large dog park. Also next to the playground several pieces of workout equipment for adults. There is also a large field for sports or some frisbee.
