List 18 Churches Open Monday in Augusta, GA
07-2025 South Augusta Church of Christ in List 18 Churches Open Monday in Augusta, GA Transforming Lives Bible Church - Augusta Bonnie B Hobson: Some months ago I was looking for a church to s start attending with my grandkids. I was totally disappointed by the people representing Christ. They were not friendly and the usher put us under large speaker so it was extremely loud. It was not full so there was no reason to place us there. When we left not a person spoke to us.
Metropolitan Community Church of Our Redeemer - Augusta Gregory Godsey: One of the most loving and affirming churches in the Augusta Georgia area! They do a lot of work and outreach for the LGBTQIA community. Their yearly LGBTQIA+ Pride Community Service in June is an amazing service of healing and support. They support Augusta Pride and host 2 booths each year at the Pride Festival. They also participate in the yearly Pride Parade. They support the Progressive Religious Coalition of Augusta’s annual Why Dr King Still Matters service. They donate food, clothing, blankets, and money to help the poor and homeless in Augusta. Their annual blessing of the pets also supports local organizations geared toward helping our furry family members. Just an amazing church, following the teachings of Jesus!
First United Pentecostal Church - augusta - Augusta Vivi Suarez: Love this church and its congregation. My mom found this place, and we followed and have felt so welcomed since we first came, and now its our church too. Weve made beautiful friendships, even my 6 yr old, and wouldnt go anywhere else. Now my other sister is coming too. Its so nice to have my whole family coming here to congregate and listen to the true word of God and feel Him in this place. Definitely recommend this church if youre looking for a church. And on their fb page, they put their services on live too if you cant make it.

Springfield Baptist Church - augusta - Augusta StevePotts: I applaud the members and those who have supported this Historic church over the many years. The park across the street provides a lot of detail on the events that have occurred and the struggles the members have endured throughout time

Excellent music, good teaching, friendly people of all ages, and no pressure.I have truly enjoyed my visits to this church. Now that I have moved here, I plan to make it my regular church.
Break Free Augusta - Augusta Saved by Grace: Great church that you can call home. Anointed worship and praise service.
Prophetic message from Gods throne of grace and mercy.
All church members are friendly.
The pastor, wife, and family members are very friendly and godly. This is the best church in Augusta based on my opinion and experience with other churches.
Unity of Augusta - Augusta Christopher St Paul: This is a special church, in my book.
I participated in a Sunday-morning service while on business in Augusta, and it was a cherished experience - though, not for the typical reasons. Yes, the church was great, from the warm, friendly congregation, to the uplifting music, to the charming, classical building itself. However, what truly set this church apart was the substance of the service. Specifically, there was truth present in this place (as I perceive truth, at least).
This authenticity was evident in several aspects of the service in question: in the powerful and practical message (which was, I sensed, delivered with utmost sincerity, and authority); in the undivided attention of the congregants; right down to the subtle, unseen "energy" of the place. Every facet of the church oozed true positivity and pure intention, in a keen manner which, in my experience, indicates the influence of genuine wisdom. The pastor even held an open discussion on the message and its meaning (and, not just in a perfunctory manner, either); personally, this was the first time Ive ever witnessed such an exchange, even among other Unity locations Ive attended.
In a word: this church is a "rare animal."
My thanks goes out to everyone at Unity of Augusta, for nourishing me during my time in the area. Please, continue this most important work.
Yours in love,
C St Paul
