1 /5 Caren Denny: I went to Saturia Nails every 2 weeks for 2 years because it was so close to my home but they became busy and quality went down because they were rushing. It also bothered me that after 2 years, their manager Kevin could not remember my name. I took my business elsewhere. Fast-forward to February 1, 2025. I took my daughter and a couple of her friends to the salon for her birthday. I was hesitant, but it was convenient because we were Do pizza and cake in the same shopping center.
I made the appts and was very clear that the girls were doing just mani pedis and any add ons or upgrades needed to go through me. They said $42 per girl with the student discount which was fine.
The girls got started and I realized they were not only doing the deluxe mani/pedi because they were sneaky and upsold to 13 and 14 year old naive girls…
I let it go but then Kevin went over to one of the girls and was being pushy trying to get her to add a design. I was trying to get his attention but he just ignored me and I finally stepped in when they tried to get her to do a flower on EVERY toe nail!?! That’s not even a thing!!
I was enjoying the girls having fun and then left to order food when my husband got there so didn’t even look at my nails until that night. OMG! They were awful!! Paid double for chipped nails and messy cuticles.
Looks like they weren’t very gentle with that poor girl’s toenail. I can see dry blood around it where they did her cuticles.
This place used to be jammed packed and I did notice Plenty of open chairs on a Saturday. Maybe this is why… I will never step foot in there again!
