5 /5 Syphilia Lowery: On August 19th, 2020, I had a root canal done. I was a big ball of nerves before and the day of my procedure. In the past, I’d heard nothing but negative things about root canals. PAIN PAIN PAIN! I was not looking forward to it. Out of curiosity, I went to google and read a few reviews about Dr. Gilchrist the Sunday night before my procedure. I felt hopeful because there were soooo many great reviews about Dr. Gilchrist and his staff. However, in the back of my head, I thought, that’s their experience though. Not mine. I let the negative rumors of root canals take over me.
The day of, I went into Dr. Gilchrist’s office extremely nervous. I was greeted by such amazing staff. They were so welcoming and warm. They assured me that I would be okay and that I would be very comfortable during my procedure. They said that they were there to help me. I felt a little better but still unsure. I finally was called back and I met Dr. Gilchrist and he was amazing!! He had such a great personality & was very funny! He made me feel completely comfortable. I experienced absolutely ZERO PAIN! I actually dozed off a little during the procedure!! That’s how comfortable I was! I experienced no pain whatsoever!! To anyone who needs a root canal but feel afraid or uncertain about getting it done because of what you’ve heard about root canals, give Dr. Gilchrist and his staff a chance!! I promise you, you won’t regret it!! THANK YOU DR. GILCHRIST AND STAFF for making my experience COMFORTABLE & PAINLESS!! I’m truly grateful! :)
