3 /5 Sarah Rogers: I came in and asked for my acrylic nails to be removed and to get a new set with gel polish and chrome. They got started immediately. My old set was soaked off and removed within 15 minutes. All was going well at first. There were 2 ladies working on my nails, Brenda and another lady who was obviously training because she didnt know how to do nails very well and Brenda was instructing her on what to do. Normally it takes about an hour to have my set removed and get a new set at other salons. It took over 3 hours to get this done here. My nails look amazing. I wish I could say I would come back, but I will not return based on the fact that it took so long to get it done. There is no reason why it should have taken this long, especially since I didnt have to wait. I wanted a pedicure too, but couldnt get one because it would have literally taken all day long for both my hands and feet. It was expensive compared to other salons, and they charge $5 extra for the almond shape and no other salon Ive visited does. Also, they charged $2.75 to use my debit card, which they didnt tell me beforehand. It was $40 for new set, $15 for gel polish, $15 for chrome, $5 for almond shape. So $75 for the set which is expensive in my opinion. Plus $2.75 card fee and $10 tip=$87.75. The only thing that made it more cost effective was that they didnt charge me to remove the old set and my usual salon charges $20 to do this. I honestly think they forgot to charge me for the removal after the 3 hour long process though.
