St. James Episcopal Church - clayton - Clayton Larry V. Johnson: I met two ladies earlier that week (April 7, 2022) who went to St. James Episcopal Church in Clayton, Georgia. I got to talking to them. They were very friendly and invited me to attend their church. One of the ladies said that the Services were at 8AM and 10:30AM. She said that there was no music at the 8AM Service; but that there was music at the 10:30AM Service. I told her that I was thinking about going to the 8AM Service.
On Sunday, April 10, 2022, I went by the Huddle House just before 8AM and ate a meal. That made me late going to the church. I got that at 8:40AM. There were two people at the entrance. One gave me a several page pamlet so that I could participate in the remainder of the service after the preacher, who was preaching when I walked in, finished preaching. I sat down at the back. But, opportunity came up so that I could move closer to the front pews ...after the preaching.
Even though they didnt know me I participated in the Communion that they had that morning. They may have had Communion because it was Palm Sunday before the following Easter Sunday. I really felt comfortable at that church.
