3 /5 Stephen Seward: This park is popular with local residents. Every time Ive stopped by or driven by, I see families using the pavilion & kids playing. Too bad its in a poor part of the City & not maintained. Grass has been this high for more than 2 weeks! (see photo) In comparison, MM Scott Park is in an upscale neighborhood. The difference is striking!! Notice the basketball court at MM Scott: has a protective painted coating, fence in in great condition. Its the opposite at Minnick Park. Would have rated Minnick Park at 5 stars if the City maintained it because of its popularity & use by nearby residents. Minnick is probably forgotten (Location?) but why should it be?

2 /5 Antwon Bell: Its a nice little park it could use a couple more picnic benches and tables but other than that its a nice spot for parties, family gathering, and just simply chilling out

1 /5 Bea Meadows: This is a nice park but the restrooms were disgusting and the door was broke and wouldnt shut and no soap, paper towels or toilet tissure for the kids. We didnt stay long because there were a bunch of juveniles sitting on top of tables throwing trash all over the ground under the covered pavillion and using some very foul words arounds the kids. Wont go back ever.

4 /5 Samara Stewart: Had my baby shower here and it was clean when we received and nice and cool because it was hot outside. Staff was on site and helped us clean up at the end.

Sacred Heart Cultural Center - Augusta

Abraham Alanis: Beautiful venue with a lot of great views, I attended this former cathedral to assist a candlelight event which was beyond excellent. The atmosphere of it makes it so unique and it truly feels like you’re in Barcelona or another colonial city, I wish I could’ve been there for longer to appreciate all the detail in this place.

Kristen McKenzie: Beautiful views and we loved having a waterfront site. The floors of the bathrooms were absolutely filthy and appeared to not have been cleaned for a very long time. The overall cleanliness of the bathrooms left a lot to be desired. I have tent camped all my life in GA state parks and these have to be some of the nastiest bath house floors I have encountered. There was a mound of soiled washcloths in one of the stalls that werent cleaned during our 3 night stay. A good hose off with some bleach would work wonders in the bathrooms. Overall, we had a great time and the 24 hour kayak rentals were awesome. Our site had a small "beach" area where the kids could play which was so convenient and they had a great time. We also went to the main beach area which was nice and had very clean bathrooms.

Wendy Leonard: Very clean park. The beaches had shells and cool rocks for the little ones. Only $7.00 to get in. Very nice play areas.

Lake Springs Recreation Area - Appling

Lisa Clark: Had a great time today. We caught 3 nice catfish on the fishing dock. We rode thru the park on our way out, and there were a lot of individual picnic areas. There were also several different swimming areas. Some even had life jackets free to use while at the park. There is a $5 daily use fee, but you can use a debit or credit card, so that was nice and convenient.

The Harlem Museum and Welcome Center, Home of the Laurel & Hardy Museum - Harlem

Shari Winard: What an informative and in depth tribute to Laurel & Hardy as well as the town of Harlem. It was worth the extra 15 mins drive, especially because they screen the films throughout the day. I loved the plethora of memorabilia and learning more about them as well as important others from the town. The Events & Museum administrator, Sina, was a delight to speak with. If I hadnt needed to get back on the road, I would have stayed another hour to watch the entire film & continue the conversation.

Jim Battle Park - Adel

Mike Sapp: Nice place to meet and greet. Kids love to ride there go carts, bikes, and scooters at this park and basketball games are competive but fair. Good for community functions and family gatherings. Constantly controlled by and secured by the County Commissions office and Chambers of Commerce.
