Midway Presbyterian Church - Powder Springs (GA)

4 /5 jokesters123: I once attended a sermon at Midway Presbyterian where a guest pastor was invited to preach, about halfway through the lesson; after uttering such phrases as "Judas did nothing wrong" and "is satan really that bad of a guy?" The guest preacher began to slowly turn red. Luckily the lead pastor recognized the signs of a demon and cast him out of the congregation. All in all it was a good show of old time religion and I would definitely recommend it to anyone seeking the Lords word.

5 /5 Brian Washington: A rarity in this day and age, Midway is a conservative Christian Church in the Reformed Tradition that adheres to traditional, reverent, Reformed worship principles (sometimes called the Regulative Principle). The congregation and church staff are friendly, welcoming and love the Lord. There are several Sunday School classes to choose from, and all are edifying, educational and God honoring. The churchs strengths are in theology, its intellectually stimulating approach to teaching and preaching, and its work in the international mission field, though it has been making more effort in the local and national mission field for some time.

5 /5 Adam Wofford: Reformed Presbyterian PCA church offers one traditional service each Sunday morning. Other services throughout the week and special events. Reformed theology focuses on the bible.

5 /5 Jerry Burton: Conservative, friendly, reformed, traditional worship. Family oriented with programs for the whole family. Excellent Sunday School teachers. Excellent preaching.

5 /5 Tryggvi McDonald: Was in town visiting a friend and decided to try the church out. Like all PCA churches, the doctrine was very sound, and the preaching was impressive too. I really liked the sermon and found it applicable while also still being relevant to the Scriptural reading (not a topical sermon with an isolated verse). The dress of the pastors and the organ added to the traditional feel of the church and heightened the experience. The church uses a book of hymns, but they shouldnt be too unfamiliar or daunting to newer people. I would highly recommend this church to anyone in the area, especially to newer believers as it will give you a solid foundation for your faith.
