Leilani Domingue: Amazing. Kids love it and brought me back to my childhood... My kid escaped me and my husband was the culprit. Family fun will ensue

Laurie Pessetto: Went with a descendant. What a horrifying event! Fear is not a valid justification to prevent future events. The Red Stone marker argument to explain the behaviors of the townspeople didnt help. The failure to darken the carving on the stone is almost an apology, making it very hard to read.

Bronwyn ST: It is a fun picture spot. But be warned, if it has rained there recently, there is seriously sticky mud around it. My kids and I named it "demon mud" because it was literally impossible to get off the bottom of their shoes. Even after trying to scrape the very sticky, clay filled, mud off with a flat rock, it was a nightmare. We had to take their shoes off before getting in the car and needed to find a hose to clean them off, many miles down the road.

Chris Ash: Such a great and cute museum! We went out on a Saturday and it was filled with so much more stuff than we were expecting! The largest collection of spurs youll ever see, military things, vehicles and furniture going back to the 1800s, and much more! And its FREE! Definitely go by if you want to do something fun on an afternoon!

Auburn Photography: I absolutely loved photographing a wedding at the Dallas Arboretum. It’s hands down one of the most beautiful venues I’ve worked at. The grounds are so well maintained—everywhere you look there’s a stunning backdrop, which made my job so easy. From romantic garden shots to wide scenic views of the lake, it truly has it all. The staff was so kind and helpful throughout the day, which makes such a difference for both the couple and vendors. It’s also such a large space that it works well for any wedding size—whether youre planning something intimate or a big celebration. If you’re considering this venue, I can’t recommend it enough. It’s a dream spot for weddings and the photos turn out incredible every time.

Melissa Huynh: We spent about 3 hours at the Dallas Arboretum and had a lovely time. Everything was beautifully maintained, and the grounds were clean and peaceful. What I loved the most was the little rose garden with the arbors. It was especially charming and made for a perfect photo spot. Overall a great place to stroll and unwind.

Willy Nillie: As far as the bridge goes, its big, its gaudy, and makes absolutely no sense . . However, I do like that it allows safe access to the other side of the road on foot and provides some shade (if the constant gun blasting doesnt bother you). It also provides a good spot to park and enter the back side of Rowlett Creek Preserve.

Katrina Dawn Miller: Really neat museum to learn about the history of Garland, Texas. I enjoyed the second floor that has the history of the cotton, Kraft Foods building, and the old Garland newspapers. The museum is inside an old train station.
