5 /5 Chris Wilson: Our family has been attending McKendree United Methodist Church for nearly six years. We were drawn in by the great kids (nursery & elementary) programming and the diversity of the congregation. The church works to support the local elementary schools, assisted living centers, and community charities (Lawrenceville Co-Op). As a mid-sized congregation you have an opportunity both to participate and lead as you desire. There are two different worship styles offered and a variety of weekday/night activities for all ages. The church represents its vision well of being “People. Doing Life Together. Connecting All Through Christ.”

5 /5 Joseph Comfort: Walked in here because I was lead by my heart. Found a place that felt like family and friends. We are all different but they understood we are all looking at the same destination even if our journey is different. Thank you lord for showing me this safe haven. Amen!

5 /5 Kat M: McKendree is like family. Our church is a place where you feel welcomed and cared about. People take an interest in you and your well being. There are many different community service projects going on all the time. Lots of clubs and activities for the kids. We have an amazing kids choir. If you are looking for a church with a heart then this is it.

She makes the Word relatable and non-judgemental. I LOVE hearing her preach. I would recommend visiting if you are looking for a new church home. We welcome you!
