1 /5 Susan Hardee: Absolutely do not go to this dentist. My appointment was schedule for 2PM and they requested I come in 15 minutes early to accomplish paperwork. When I arrived at 1:45PM their were no lights on inside the office and the doors were locked. 2PM comes and goes, no one answering the door or the phone. At 2:05PM the receptionist walks by and says nothing to all the patients waiting until I ask her if she works at the office. She states shes waiting as well and doesnt have the keys to let herself or anyone else in. She stated she was going to the back door to wait. At 2:20PM I walk outside to find her and shes sitting at the door, she tells me shes attempted to call the doctor 3 times and hes not answering his cell phone. Im left scratching my head as to why shes not attempting to keep the patients updated or taking names for reschedules. I walk back inside after speaking with her and attempt to call the office one more time and the dentist and another lady finally walks inside the office. The receptionist lets us inside and request that I come to the back to fill out paperwork. Once back their it takes her another 30 minutes to get the tablet operational, so I can fill out the paperwork. After completing the paperwork they took me to the back to see the dentist. The dentist spent another 15 minutes trying to figure out how to pull up my patient record in the system. It took him another 45 minutes and a room change to figure out how to take the x-rays and store them in the system. Then he proceeded to clean my teeth which is odd because its normally a dental hygienist that cleans my teeth. While cleaning my teeth he picked my gums numerous times and said he thought my gums were tartar build up. Seriously you cant tell the difference between gums and tartar build up and youre a dentist?? Well Id like to say it stopped their, but when I went to check out they tried to charge for a dental cleaning and x-rays which by the way is free with my insurance. I essentially told them to file it with the insurance company and if they denied the claim Id discuss with the insurance company and walked out.
The office presentation definitely shows amateur hour. Most of the shelves are made out of plywood, the furniture is cheap and torn, the staff is fumbling around trying to figure out the dental system, a/c inside the office barely works to the point they have portable a/c units in the office, they wrap everything in food grade plastic wrap, the dental equipment and dental station setups is straight out the 1980s, the dentist has to record his own finding in the patient records, staff dont know how to respond to items he needs during patient workups and cleanings, and patients have to hold their x-ray mouth piece in place while the dentist holds the camera in place and has another staff member click the button. The whole visit took 3 hours from start to finish. Absolutely insane...
Update 1/15/2024 - Called to cancel an appointment they schedule me for. The lady who answered the phone hung up on me when I told her I wanted to cancel the appointment because they were no longer under my insurance and I refused to give her my new insurance information after she asked for it. What the heck is wrong with these people.
The only reason theyre getting 1 star is because Google wont let you give zero stars or a half a star.
Like I said avoid this place at all cost!
