Lux Nails | Best Nail Salon in Forsyth County & the Surrounding Area - Cumming (GA)

1 /5 Leah: I have no clue how this salon has good ratings. With that being said, I had a horrible experience at this nail salon this week. I came in on a weekday for a regular manicure. The manicurist who I worked with was named Lee. She pushed gel heavily and had an attitude when I just wanted a regular color. She claimed that gel is faster to dry which I agree is true but that is not my preference. It was a bit too aggressive. She was not friendly and did not acknowledge me other than to tell me that I needed take better care of my nails and they dont look great. (My nails are short in length by choice for work, but I take very good care. Either way, it was inappropriate.) She painted my nails and they were very streaky and uneven. The entire manicure was 25 minutes at most. I paid but I ended up going to another salon immediately to fix it. The other salon was APPAULED at what my nails looked like. They were so uneven that they had to fix/ shorten them even more. I will not be coming back nor will and of my friends and family. I am patient, kind, tip well and respect anyone in the service industry, so there was no need for this experience. Steer clear..........

5 /5 Michele Dvorak: Helen and Lisa did an amazing job with my SNS fill/manicure and pedicure. My nails look beautiful every time and the salon is exceptionally clean with well maintained equipment. With over 200 nail colors to choose from along with esthetician services this is my go to place for affordability as well. I highly recommend Lux Nails, you won’t be disappointed.

5 /5 April Davis: You want the best??? Who else in the north designing like this? Do not shop around, stop here! The one and only Lux nails with the best staff ever!!! Don’t get this shop confused with the others around town because this is not it. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve sat in the chair with no idea of color or design. I have never left unsatisfied!! The staff here is patient and attentive to what you are looking for and need. Special shout out to Sandy, she does a wonderful job and has never failed me. She makes it do what it do baby. She brings every design alive. What are you waiting for? Make that appointment!!! You’re welcome in advance.

5 /5 Laurie Walton: This is my first time to this location (5/2025) but Ive seen their esthetician, Levan, for 15+ years. This location is updated and the owner, Kim, does a fantastic job of blending a soothing atmosphere with a skilled team. I know several of the nail techs and they are outstanding in the services they provide and are very sweet! I cant say enough about Levan and her skill set with facials. She uses clean, gentle Korean products which actually produce quick results. I always feel 10 years younger after she works on my face! Enjoy!

5 /5 Tami Coan: I cannot say enough about Lux Nails salon! It was such a pleasant and calming experience. It wasn’t a lot of carrying on, not a lot of chatter, everyone was so professional and my nails have never looked better! Highly recommend Kim and Helen — if you get a chance, definitely go!
