The team is doing incredible work in bat conservation and raising awareness about these misunderstood creatures. We got to feed the bats and observe them up close, and they were truly beautiful to see in such a unique setting. Its clear that they are dedicated to expanding bat populations and educating the public on their importance to our ecosystem. If youre looking for a way to support a great cause and experience something special, I highly recommend making an appointment to visit. Tours are by appointment, and its well worth it!

5 /5 Jacqui Dean: We had a private tour on 1/12/2023 and it was genuinely an amazing experience. The facilities were well maintained at a high level of cleanliness and all of the bats and other animals there were in excellent condition. It’s evident that these beautiful creatures are being cared for in a stress free environment with plenty of attention. The guide we had, Maddie, knew each bat by name- there are dozens - so the fact that she knew each by name is indicative of the personalized individual attention these animals receive. As much as I wanted to, of course, touching the bats is not allowed; for their safety as well as visitors’. We were given skewers from which we were able to feed them cantaloupe. So fun to do! I would recommend Lubee to anyone interested in an up close educational encounter with bats.

Clam Pass Park - Naples

bostonh2o: Great park with beach access, its only $10 to park. No RVs or trailers, I have a class B van and parked with no propel and the staff didnt say anything. A bigger vehicle would not work. There is a board walk that goes through the mangroves to the beach, its about a 20 minute walk maybe less. The hotel has a bar and snack bar at the end on the beach open to the public. I had a fruit salad for only $6. They offer go cart rides to the beach and back if you dont want to walk, and there are trash receptacles along the walk way. The beach is beautiful, clean and busy. There are beach wheel chairs for those who are in wheel chairs, This little park is worth a stop.

Freedom Park - Naples

klosky04: The park was very nice with nice well kept trails. The trails ranged from concrete, dirt, and boardwalk. There were plenty of observation decks looking out over the marshes. Fishing is allowed at the park. Saw plenty of Florida birds, snakes, and fish.The only downfall is there are no garbage cans throughout the park so there was quite a bit of trash along the trails and in the marshes.

Elliott Gervais: Very nice boardwalk park. You can walk for miles across pedestrian bridges and to a beautiful park a few kilometres away with a nice dog park. Parking is free at this location, easy to get parking during the week

Alligator Lake Park - Lake City

Spencer S: We hiked the James Montgomery Trail. The description says its a “One hour hike” but does not list distance. Well, its 3miles. Lovely trail. We saw alligators and snapping turtles (laying eggs). Restrooms were very clean. This is a wonderful park. Kudos to those that manage it because you’re doing a great job!

Stockton Park - Jacksonville

Deven Abbott: Great park to come fish with the regulars, or throw a hammock up near the river or further into the trees. Lots of open grass and a great breeze always coming off of the river. Not much in the realm of a playground but theres a couple of swings that dont seem ever too busy.

Pensacola Aviation Discovery Park - Pensacola

Jim D: This park is a great place to watch planes. It is located at the crossroads of both runways making for a good vantage of all aircraft movements. The elevated viewing platform allows for an unobstructed view of the action. There is plenty of shade and playground equipment to keep everyone entertained. The only drawback is parking is difficult. The parking lot was filled and we were the only people in the park, appears the nearby flight school has overtaken the parking.

wadlde: Tucked Away. No Parking but thats OK, particularlyfor those in the neighborhood. Some locals may seem to suggest the park is somehow private to certain residents. PoGo gym as well.
