Laura Simmons: The trail was great. There are many small trails that scatter through out the park. They all loop around or connect to another one. They have many signs on the tails that help guide you. Other than the heat, it was a great hike for me.
Mark Bain: My wife and I really enjoyed the museum. My favorite part was the huge antique tool collection. It was amazing. The walk around the log cabin village was pretty neat as well.
Coye Madden: Very educational! Lots of displays with plenty of information about forestry and how trees are used to make every day items. It was very clean! Stuckie was definitely the main reason we went, but my family enjoyed exploring both floors. Plus, there are several outside activities and a large playground. There are several animal displays with real taxidermied animals that show different types of wildlife in different areas of the South. Several of the displays are interactive. There is wheelchair access at the entrance and to get to the outdoor areas. There is a public restroom, which was very clean. There is also a gift shop.
Entry for our family of five would have been $14 (5 & under get in free) but we bought a one year family pass for $30.
Matthew Atkinson: Love this park. There are plenty of activities and stuff to do and I even wound up getting into pickleball! They have free paddles and balls for the public if you don’t have your own.
Kay Nita (NitaKay): Only negative to this park is how hot it gets on the playground. They need a cover !!! Otherwise clean park. Friendly kids. The water fountains on to help kids cool off and play . Kid 2-5 area and 5 -12 area. Tons of amazing g features ! We go almost daily !
