Lanier Hills Church - Gainesville (GA)

4 /5 David Swab: I found this place in the hotel registry book in the room where I staying while here on business. It stood out and and after checking out their web site, it has a nice contemporary progressive feel. While is says baptist here, it didnt feel like most baptist churches I have have been to in the past. I dont know this churchs past, but perhaps it was one of those churches that gets "born again" and updates its model for the current generation. i liked its slogan; "a perfect church for people who arent". It seemed real and not just a shtick. The people were nice and friendly and the Spirit of God seemed to be evident. both of the pastors I talked to were very nice and approachable. I had some pleasant discussions with them and one even offered to get together for lunch if I had time while I was here in town. The message was relevant and it hit home on a couple of points. Godly advice; what it is and is not and how to recognize it. the campus is new and has any open layout as is the sanctuary. It is all very inviting. I went to the 9am service and it was a smaller group w/ an intimate feel during the worship. Definitely somewhere I would recommend and go if I lived here.

5 /5 Jerry Hoffmann: My family started visiting Lanier Hills Church back in 2016 I think it was, on weekends when we were up at our lake cabin. In 2018 we completed a home on our property and moved up here fulltime and made it our home church. We love it here. Its big enough to have things going on for the kids and small groups for the rest of us, and small enough that you can connect with people easily and get plugged in. The pastor Randall is an awesome guy who preaches the Word without apology speaking the truth in love. The youth ministry is active and thriving at all ages (we have a 10, 14, and 16 year old all involved). There are opportunities to serve. Foster care ministries. Outreach to local families and family support organizations, and probably a lot more than I even know about. Wed love for you to check us out sometime if youre looking for somewhere to get plugged into the church!

5 /5 Deborah Hall: This is an awesome church. Pastor Randall teaches the Bible without compromising scripture. Messages are so good! Ive been attending for a year after my church closed due to covid. This church never closed and setup services outside. The people are so friendly and very welcoming!

If u are looking for a place to feel like u r welcomed and enjoy wonderful message and hear so amazing music. Come here Lanier Hills is the perfect place for unperfect people.
