5 /5 Chris Mo: Ive been coming to House of Prayer for years. We aren’t playing church up in here. This is the real deal. What got me is that they dont try to hide the truth just to keep numbers, get money, or please everybody; that is highly commendable and appeals to me as a soldier who values honor and fidelity. In todays sinful society, churches have to beg you to serve God and put everyone in Heaven, and thats just not the way it works. So, many couldnt handle the truth, and have nothing better to do than sit around, create issues, write stuff about Gods church, and call us a cult. Well Im sorry someone loved you enough to tell you that your ways might be contrary to scripture, you know, the Word of God, which is another thing our society is quickly trying to erase so that, "anything goes." Oh, of course its not unprecedented that the truth of Gods Word is will make some folks quite upset, and call the two-tier current administration who desperately needs to do an unbiased internal investigation on themselves instead of conducting them on law abiding citizens and controlling veterans and questioning their choice of place of worship, and on people that actually help soldiers like myself when my chain of command couldnt, as they had too many social, political, and financial problems themselves. Instead, they just prey on conservatives and waste taxpayers dollars on politically motivated investigations that do nothing to help the country. Have you ever heard of a thing called the Constitution and something related... oh, what was it? Oh yeah, the 1st Amendment. Whats that? So, now they even go as far as to say that its wrong for veterans to help other veterans get to God. But then what are they doing to stop the myriad problems veterans are facing? Nothing. What has this country come to? This is an all-time low for a once God-fearing nation. This is the post-Christian America, ladies and gentlemen.

3 /5 Faithful Heart: Went to this church for years and know a few of the people who left bad reviews but cant recall any of the names of those good reviewers. Im pretty sure they wouldnt be online if they were actual members unless they worked in the office and have access to the internet. Church started out great, but after people left and some folks started saying horrible things and "making up lies" out of assumptions, the preaching has turned into "dont quit" messages. My complaint is that they acted like we were enlisted in the military. I dont think a church should have that much control over you even if they wanted to help you grow spiritually. I also dont like how some members will treat you as if youre enemy #1 when you leave the church. Its not that serious. Its a church, not the mob, but there will always be one or two who does the most and act like they need proof or something against you just in case you come against them or try to get people to leave. They need to stop all of that and just be a church like they used to be, and if someone leaves, just let them leave without doing extra stuff like weirdos.

5 /5 Rob James: Its a no-nonsense church. Probably not for you if youre a wimp. Nah, actually, God can make you tough, so come on in! The Bible is unapologetically preached here. So, if you are serious about God, then youre in for a treat. If not, just find a watered-down church that tickles your ears and just wants numbers and money... to each their own.

5 /5 John Jacob: So Ive been coming to this church for nearly 20 years. Yall check this out. A lot of people are making incredibly false reviews about us. Maybe I shouldnt meddle, but I gotta get this off my chest. So Im a veteran, and I dont know where Id be right now without this life-saving place. Now, lets get this straight, soldiers are only one of the MANY demographics of people who are reached and helped by this ministry of love for God and for souls. Notice I said, "reached" like a helping hand outstretched, not "targeted," which sounds like something an adversary does, as some use who unfairly categorize ministerial work as such. Should veterans be excluded then when the suicide, divorce, homelessness, drug abuse, and crime rates are among the highest in terms of a given demographic? Ive never been taken for my money, nor seen any abuse of the VA. All giving is an act of will worship according to your faith. But to the Biden Administration, I am confused as to why we shouldnt be able to use our hard earned VA benefits for anything to do with the place of worship of our choice. Whats wrong with us using it for our Bible College? That helped the hundreds of us veterans who wanted a higher quality education and school to achieve that. How can local community colleges then go right on post, set up shop, get paid more, and do it with more lenient standards, and were the ones who did something wrong?! Maybe the Bible isnt a worthy field of study to them. But the VA will sure do it for a Muslim school or an underwater basket weaving school. But a few people who got personal issues with us make false claims, and the VA is quick to just take their word. Guilty until proven innocent now. The VA shouldve told these clowns that we can have our school if we want to. Shouldve stood up for us. All you did was make the haters feel like they got us, but they cant stop us, or God, for that matter. School is still strong. Now, as a veteran, I lose my right to use my GI bill at the school of my choice. What about the hundreds of us veterans who can think for ourselves and who opine that the school is very ethical and has exercised integrity with the VA? Is there even a First Amendment still or a presumption of innocence? Wheres the proof that House of Prayer is guilty of anything? Are those making false sworn affidavits just going to get away with it? Wasting the governments time and robbing those who deserve the quality of life their benefits afford, and robbing the community of money well invested into it. If it helped the gospel to go forward and helped more people to be reached, then thats at least one good thing the VA could have done to serve the veterans of our nation. Their reputation isnt so great these days, i.e. people dying waiting for healthcare, claim backlogs, unfair denials, upper eschelon negligence, political corruption, etc. I guess this isnt inconsistent with their reputation for being inadequate at best.

5 /5 Story Teller: Gods church will be hated. When Jesus came into this world he drank from a cup of sorrow, he ate at the table of rejection daily, and slept in a bed of grief. He was REJECTED by his family, he was REJECTED by the church, he was REJECTED by his brethren. The only thing that welcomed him with open arms was a splintering blood-stained cross. AND just when he needed God the most, he was lastly rejected by the Father. So tell me, if YOU were there, would you go away also, or would you be one of a few that stayed at the cross with him?
