1 /5 Queen Lashe: This chick! $1250.50 for a Basic Extraction. First, you charge me $310.50 for a consultation. I paid it because I thought you were good at your job and professional. Then you gave me the price of my potential procedure and I took some time to think it over. Prior to the service, I advised you I only needed an extraction. Mainly because you didnt seem sure the procedure would be a success. The bill was recalculated, but somehow still $940 just to pull my tooth. The meds to sedate me made sense, but the other line items did not. Again, I paid what you charged. I was out of it when I left the office, so I did not realize I, nor my husband was provided with a receipt or paperwork. Nearly a month later, I received a bill in the mail stating I still owed $40. Im baffled and trying to recall how the hell I would owe; knowing I made all the necessary arrangements for this. I spoke to your secretary and was told a mistake was made when running my card and you did not charge me the full $940. At first, I thought, well thats your mistake. Then, I quickly told her I would check into it and get back to her because it didnt make sense. The lady on the phone ended the call by saying she would make a note that she had spoken to me, so that amount wouldnt get sent to collections. The games people play! Later, I checked my card statement to see the initial charge that was made. Wouldnt you know, she had already charged me the full $940. Mind you, she had already been paid the full balance. This is probably something she has done to many people who didnt pay attention. Very disappointed in Golden Isle Oral Surgery.
