5 /5 ShLeigh Johnson: Quaint, green and nature filled. There was so much to see in this neighborhood forest. Varying plants, trees, animals and birds. A canopy of leaves overhead from enormous trees shading the area. Along with paths topped with leaves or wood chips and some carved out by branches and that wind & cross through iut the greenery and creek. Plus theres benches and fallen trees scattered around for sitting and gazing.

4 /5 jayinatlanta: Pretty neat little set of trails for a shortish hike, or mountain biking, with some intense elevation change for such a small area. Good way to experience old growth Piedmont forest - in fact this may be one of the best replacements for Fernbank Forest now charging entry (and this places trails are unpaved unlike Fernbank). Ill look forward to getting from here to Decaturs nice Glenlake Park by walking, as pointed out by another reviewer who misnamed Glenlake Park.

McKoy Park - Decatur

Bugzy Judah Roze: Loved this park. I have been going since I was a child now I take my sweet daughters... Baseball, pool, playground, and a skate park area. Everything is opened again ( they had closed the playground area last year. The red swings dont work properly so beware before you put your kids in them.

Shoal Creek Park I - Decatur

Yuki Okamura-Wong: Lovely big, grassy park. The athletic areas are neatly fenced off and the area is clean of all trash. Theres 2 playgrounds on either side, and lots of trees next to a little creek. Would be a great area for a picnic.

Willie Tiller: I used to love Golden corral but the place of gotten so expensive to we dont go anymore used to take friends and clients there for dinner just to impress now the prices is present I have no need to go to Golden corral unless Im going to lunch and even then they stop you from getting a free soda along with your early bird meal thanks Golden corral I wish Ryan was still around to give you some competition May the prices when we so high

The scenery makes every step feel worth it, and its such a peaceful spot to run or walk. Pamela B: Nice park with several amenities...playground, pavilions, grills, walking trail, and beach. They also have a splash pad but it was not working due to a blown transformer. There is also a fee which I did not notice upon entering the park. I was informed by a park official as he pulled in behind me that "the park aint free. Its $5!" Please put up signage or something...

Greg Kimball: I recently visited the Flint RiverQuarium at 101 Pine Ave, in Albany, GA. I parked near the Aquarium and entered a very beautiful building. I went to the counter and was pleasantly greeted and laid my entrance fee. The people stationed throughout the Aquarium were very nice and answered my questions on the exhibits. Its worth a visit to see native river environments.

Chehaw Wild Animal Park - Albany

Ted T: Its quite a beautiful park with many walking and hiking paths. There are also plenty of space for picnicking with public restrooms available. You can also choose to pay for the park with zoo entrance and make a day out of it. The zoo itself isnt very big but is also built as a nature walk with quiet forest paths.
