Ethan Cox: This was a really enjoyable experience. I came not that long before closing and I got to see one of their showings. I got to take a photo with an owl, touch asnake, qnd watch a turtle pee on a guy lol. It started raining a bit but mostly was at the end and not so bad youd need a umbrella. I took more photos than I could add and theres even a play area. Students get in for free, and theres a nice picnic area and lots of seating around. I think the only thing I couldnt see was the raptor exhibit as its under construction I believe. A really nice experience.
Marcat: Their hours are limited. Leave a message, they will return the call. No charge for entry. Curator was knowledgeable and prepared. Worth it if you’re seriously interested in area history. Cute bird dog pillows.
Jasmine Jones: High falls is a quick drop by and cool off spot. No new attractions but it has been loyal to our community for so long that it is a hidden gem. I like that they also added a dollar tree/family dollar right down the street for quick snacks and swim gear.
B: Excellent and free place to walk and photograph and see animals and a living farm. its clean, quiet and peaceful. Recommend this place for anyone looking for some mature and outdoors.
Kiara Rainey: The place is a hidden gem. So peaceful...family friendly....very scenic . ...and a covered pavilion for social events like cookouts, reunions, picnics, etc scenery is beautiful. Swings for couples to sit on and lookout at the water..if you wanna take special pictures for events like prom, engagement photos, etc this is an ideal spot!!
Jess Nagy: The Submarine Museum in St. Mary’s is a must-visit! My son had a great time learning about submarine history, and it was especially meaningful to honor our family members who’ve served. Seeing firsthand artifacts from the USS Tennessee made the experience even more personal. A wonderful, educational stop for anyone interested in naval history!
Elvis Presley: What a wonderful experience and memories that were made due to the wonderful staff and park. My 7 year old and I came from Atlanta. We were running late and missed our time slot for boat, train and animal encounters. Olivia greeted us with a warm and empathetic greeting. The slots were booked but she went above and beyond to get us on the boat, train, and encounters saving our trip.
Alicia was our boat guide and provided a fun , safe and educational adventure where we saw gators, frogs, turtles and kangaroo.... kidding about kangaroo.
Bryan gave us a great train ride and tour of village. Jessica was the reptile/animal expert and shared her vast knowledge of the indigenous species of the Okefenokee and let my son pet the reptiles.
Great job!!
