1 /5 Bonnie Lambert: I went in for a pedicure and manicure. I left with a poorly done pedicure only. There were 2 people who did the pedicure. One was the manager, an Asian female and the other an older male. The man started and manager did the polish. He started off regularly with filing, but seemed to not be sure of the procedure. He did massages & pushed back cuticles, in that reverse order. The manager switched with him by bringing Luke warm towels and filed a couple nails and began to polish. She slathered the polish on, didn’t paint to the edge, polish was lumpy and I told her it was poorly done, BEFORE she put on a 2nd gunky, gooky coat. She kept slathering and retorting she isn’t finished. Because she would not listen, I canceled the manicure, but decided to go fwd with the manicure requesting a different tech, specifically after I was charged the full amount, less $15. The MANAGER came saying You got combo. I asked the price of a regular manicure, she lied that the manicure regular price is $15, so I owe the balance or could wait for a manicure. I waited 10 minutes, soon another customer came in, and was shortly directed to a manicure station. A tech was coming to her. I discussed it with the MANAGER, that I was being passed over as a spiteful act. The MANAGER then started explaining to another customer that because I said I would wait, so let me wait. I told her it was unprofessional to discuss another client, I left.
This was not just the money, it was the waste of money. The pedicure AND the polish to finish it was poorly done. Waste of money and time. I attached a photo. I have gotten a pedicure every 2 weeks from end of May until now. Other 3 in Macon at Sun Nails. Friendly Nails is not a legitimate nail shop. It’s a den of untrained techs working under an unprofessional, untrained manager.
