The community inside the church is what really makes it function. All of the people are very friendly and people that grow a part of your family. All of the services are southern baptist. Writing a review about a church is tough!

5 /5 Sue: Our family is from out of state and we were vacationing in Georgia. Everyone at First Baptist Church were so welcoming! Pastor Bobs preaching is excellent! We went back to the evening service as well. Pastor Bobs preaching is biblically sound. Theology combined with passion and application! If you cant attend, be sure to listen to his sermons on their website, you will be blessed and encouraged!

5 /5 Jeremy Turner: We visit Blue Ridge for a week out of every summer. And we love first Baptist Church of Blue Ridge. The pastor is great and he preaches the word of God. The congregation is super friendly and they make you feel very welcome. We will come back here every summer.

Marcus Slavenas: The Orthodox Mission Blue Ridge has a wonderful service. The congregation sings together worshiping God. The icons, candles, and incense makes great ambience. Father Andrew provides a homily filled with the tradition of the Church, and with his wife Dannie, they engage the laity at coffee time. I love it!

Rick Oxford: No witches, no ghosts! We couldnt find Elizabeth Bradleys headstone, but they were pretty weathered. We did find her sisters headstone almost under the tree. It was a neat old church that apparently still has services.

Holly Wood: This is a lovely small traditional church with excellent preaching and a very friendly congregation. The folks sitting in front of us made us feel right at home. I did wish that we sang more hymns. There is music before the service, but we only sang one song.
