3 /5 T: First i want to say the salon itself was very nice! I liked the set up of things. Seemed like a very nice salon. Ive done a lash perm on myself before and it came out great. I decided to get it done here and it was a waste of time and money. I wasnt planning on leaving a bad review publicly but I texted her a detailed nice message with my concerns. I got no response at all. That bothered me and was unprofessional. There are different size pads for the eyelids that you can use depending on the type of curl the client wants. That didnt happen. There was no fitting of pads to my eyes or was I asked what I was looking for. Although I told her what I wanted. My eyelashes didnt have much curl to them and now a few days later you cant tell I got anything at all done. What I got was not an eyelash perm but a lift that didnt last. I have never had any issues with my eye sight. Now I cant read anything up close. My eyes burned for 2 days after and now are blurry when reading. I really hope its not permanent. I know its a risk which is why I think paying better attention is needed. Also please dont hand a dirty eyelsh curler to client for them to use. I wish I would have just taken the time to do it myself again. Lesson learned. Hopefully on both sides. EDIT.... so I thought I would edit this and say she did text me back although not sure if she saw this then decided too. She was very nice about it. Didnt offer any money back and I wish I would have pressed it. I did mention that I wouldnt want it all back because it was still her time. She offered for me to come in again at no cost to get it done again. That will absolutely not happen because my eyesight is permanently messed up and i didnt leave with what i wanted. My eyes were batting a lot, and I think if that is happening , she should not do it that day or definitely not be walking around while its perming. Even for it coming out more like a lash lift it didnt last more than a week.
