5 /5 Shospyra Mele: Short review: the church members are very welcoming and diverse in age/race/ethnicity. It is clean and large/spacious. It even has an academy attached.
Longer review: I arrived at 11:30, along with a few other visitors/members, and the parking lot was full with a few spots remaining (turns out they were doing communion).
I was immediately greeted by a gentleman at the door with a smile, happy sabbath, and inquiry about how my week went (which was new for me, because the most I get when visiting new churches is usually “welcome happy sabbath, please sign our guest book”.
Because it was communion, I arrived just as the ordinance of humility (feet washing) began with people leaving the sanctuary to participate. As I’m looking for a seat, another gentleman acknowledges me and mentions not seeing my face before, gave me a warm welcome, introduced me to a pastor, his wife, and invited me to participate. I politely declined, but the impressions leading up to that were strong enough to feel inclined to leave a review (which I’m doing as they wash feet)
Not sure how good the sermons/praise and worship are yet, but I’d visit again just off of my experience so far and would recommend to anyone in the area.
