Candy Smith: During Hurricane Michael, First Baptist Church in Colquitt opened their doors to anyone who needed shelter from the storm their pastor stayed up all night and many church members were up by 3 am cooking a pancake breakfast for everyone there. When the lights were out during the storm, they provided a big spaghetti dinner for everyone. They were a portrait of the love of Jesus.
Kelly Jansen: This place is amazing. You feel the love of God here. Pastor Cory is awesome, i love coming to visit my family and attending this church. They are like one big family, and they always greet you with a smile and a welcome. Thanks for always delivering a powerful message.
Caprice Alizah Moore: I may be biased, but I love this church! It’s been my home church for almost 14 years now. The people took me in from the start. I’ve been loved, guided, helped, and encouraged. And now I’m raising my own little family up here. Such a blessing.
J Allen Carter: The pastor, The elect lady, the Deacons and to be honest the congregation met us with warm loving open arms. Very family friendly atmosphere. They dont keep you in service all day and its a direct and understanding message straight from the word of God. "It might be a little out of the way, but its well worth the trip". Im just sayin....
