John Godwin: Great place to “escape” the big city/UGA campus within a city I’ve ever seen. You will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere with 100 year old Oak trees, and undisturbed forests, beautiful area! Great place to take your dog on an adventure!

Krystal B: Large parking lot to access the trails, mostly paved, and some stretch along the river. We picnicked at covered pavilion next to the restroom area. The picnic pavilion had a grill available and a nearby basketball hoop.

truck driver: As we pulled up I got a "sketchy" vibe. Quite a bit of trash around and in the parking spot next to use one person had a machete and the other a sickle for "fishing". Not a park for tourists.

Adam Galbreath: I brought my son here during his school break. After talking with Nicole through email, she informed me that they were moving some things around and that some of the things my son was interested in would be back on display in a couple of days, so we waited until Friday to visit. We were so impressed with the exhibits and the collection. I would like to thank Dr. Hoebeke, Nicole, Sarah and the rest of the staff for all they did for my son and I during our visit. 10 out of 10!

Andre Davis: I spent all day here and the area is nice. Its a good place just to relax and chill. Maybe have lunch the whole time? I was here, I caught one catfish, 1, brim. And 3 turtles, including one large, snapping turtle. I also encountered one of the largest spiders Ive ever seen.Be careful

Odie Penny: The "hill" is normal - gravitationally. At the top, it looks level but slants a bit. Worth the 5 mile detour for kicks, nothing more. OBTW: Watch for logging trucks while youre creating a hazard - they are paid by the trip, not the mile.

Alavache: Went for a 2nd visit yesterday. Even more amazing than I remembered. There are parts of this place that feel magical almost like another world. Enchanted forest vibes. I got videos of deer and turtles. The trails are well marked here. Nothing too strenuous and several routes to choose from. I even found a few parts.I had not seen the first time I came. Very peaceful here. Hope you enjoy the photos and videos.

Brian Douglas: Edited after the end of our visit to drop from 3 stars to 1 after confirming with the funnel cake stand workers that it would be open until park closing time. Upon coming back to it half hour before closing they rudely say they are closed. Terrible way to keep people returning. $5 parking coupon to use in the park down the drain. Seems like they do this often. Rough way to end a decent day. This was our first visit. We came solely for Arieforce One. We had considered just paying for one single ride on it but figured we’d by the full day pass to ride it as much as we wanted. It ended up being the only memorable thing at the park. Hot seat was decent when it was operational. The newest ride advertised on their website wasn’t even running the entire time there. The operations are lazy and most of the rides seem very old and janky. Aside from marathoning Arieforce One, which is worth the cost alone, I’d stick to paying for a ride or two and calling it a day. Hopefully they make some improvements in the future.
