1 /5 Rosaye McCoy: I booked an appointment for today at 6:00 pm with Steven. I needed my hair done because Im going into surgery on Friday & will be down for a while. According to their pictures, it seemed like they did African-American hair. I wanted a copper red color like the example pictured. I arrived 4-5 minutes late due to an accident on I-85. Steven told me that he wouldnt be able to do my hair because he didnt have the color I requested & because he had other clients coming in. He also mentioned the process of lightening my hair first, which Im aware of. But their website for scheduling doesnt allow you to enter all of the services that you are requesting. Steven tried to refer me to his colleague. I believe her name was "Shonda". She had no availability for tonight. They also referred me to another salon down the street...which seemed to cater to mostly African-American clients, as well. Looks like Ive found my stylist there. But if you couldnt do African-American hair, just say that. Very unprofessional & I would not recommend!
