5 /5 Paul W. Peel: The Old House is truly a Statham staple. I visited years ago for lunch, but today was my first time trying their breakfast—and it didn’t disappoint! They serve all the classic Southern staples. I ordered two eggs with cheese, grits, toast, and bacon. The eggs were prepared omelet-style and were honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. Everything was fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care.
The service was five-star—friendly and attentive—and the atmosphere is exactly what you’d expect from a small-town family restaurant: warm, welcoming, and charming.
Highly recommended if you’re in the area and want a true Southern breakfast experience.
