5 /5 Shayne Topp: Stekoa Creek is hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to — not just in Clayton, but anywhere. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm lighting, a cozy mountain-modern atmosphere, and the mouthwatering scent of wood-fired cooking. The food is exceptional. I had one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten — perfectly cooked, beautifully seasoned, and bursting with flavor. The seafood was equally impressive, especially the tuna tartare and grilled shrimp appetizer. Every plate that came out looked like it belonged in a magazine. Cocktails were a huge highlight too — creative, balanced, and presented with flair. I highly recommend the Smoked Old Fashioned! Service was top-tier. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly — you can tell the staff really cares about what they do. If youre looking for a place that combines great food, creative drinks, and warm hospitality in an inviting atmosphere, Stekoa Creek is a must-visit. Already planning my next trip back!

5 /5 Parker Fillion: I had a group of 23 women celebrating a milestone birthday. Jess and Carter were our servers and they were top notch. They made sure our scheduled activities went through without any issues. Professional yet fun, they served our amazing drinks and food with a smile. This was, without a doubt, the very best place to have a large group. Will be back, highly recommend.

1 /5 Glen Vargas: Wife and I dropped by for a glass of wine, landed up having dinner at the bar. 3rd time we’ve been there. 1st was during their soft opening and saw the place had great potential. 2nd was an after dinner cocktail. Great vibe inside, nice piano playing in the background. Staff is okay at least bar staff, though a worker cleared my wife’s entree before she was finished, yeah D’oh! Started with oysters rockefeller, nicely cooked perhaps a little clunky, but good! Cesar salad was fine. My wife had the gnocchi special, I tried a bite, overall okay a bit too crusty. I just had the tuna tare tare, it was very good, loved the crispy wonton chips with it. Carrot cake is beyond good, maybe the best I’ve ever had! Room for improvement but certainly best place in Clayton now, folks next door are a joke. Sorry for poor pics, lightings not great at the bar.

4 /5 Benjamin Hammer: Had my birthday dinner at Stella Creek a few weekends ago, and it was a mixed bag. The waiter was doing his absolute best, but it was clear they were understaffed. They also were out of a bunch of stuff because they’d had such a busy weekend (good for them, sucked for us). We each had a decent cocktail (with non-preferred booze due to being out). We then had the wedge and pear salads. Both were good but over-dressed. Special call-out to the cornbread croutons on the Wedge. Entrees were the crab cake (huge and packed with crab), the salmon (excellent), and the meatloaf (good but overtly rich and begging for something acidic to break up the richness.). Disappointingly there was no effort for my birthday nor effort to even sell us dessert. It’s definitely a nice place and a solid addition to Clayton, but it has some room for improvement. I’d go back, and I’d recommend trying it out.

5 /5 S M: 7/27/25. Birthday treat..... A truly rewarding culinary experience. We ordered the steakhouse chopped salad with the pecan vinaigrette as our starter & the trout as our main course & it was all exceptional. The only negative aspect was the server spilled a drink on me, which was Im sure accidental & it happens sometimes. Thats why I rated the service at 4 stars. This was our first visit here to celebrate my birthday. The atmosphere is unique & cozy, even on a blistering hot summer day. Second visit 9/22/25. Our Anniversary dinner Following our recent & first experience with Stekoa Creek 2 months ago, my Husband & I elected to return for a second rewarding culinary experience to celebrate our anniversary. As before, we were not disappointed. The quality of the food & the flavor profiles are certain to meet & possibly exceed the most critical & demanding palettes . This time , in addition to the steakhouse chopped salad as a starter, we chose the center cut rib-eye & the 9 oz filet which we were told are dry aged, & accompanied with the garlic mashed potatoes. As before, everything was spot on. The steaks were exactly as we requested them for cooking preference & the flavor was what you would expect in a perfectly grilled high quality cut of beef & they remained moist through the very last bite. The mashed potatoes were the perfect blend of Boursin Cheese & Roasted Garlic. Our server was probably the best server we have ever had, I just wish we had asked his name. He offered us a desert choice in honor of our anniversary & we chose the carrot cake which was outstanding. The price point for this restaurant is probably considered by some to be a bit on the high side for regular & frequent dining, but it is definitely worth the splurge for special occasions. Both of our experiences are a prime example of " you get what you pay for". We paid for outstanding flavor & quality & that is exactly what we received.
