5 /5 Annette Youmans: My 90 year old dad received a gift certificate for his birthday. I went there today for two “to go” orders. The food was delicious and the staff was super nice. We loved everything but the Peach Cobbler and Fried Chicken were off the charts. We highly recommend if you like real Southern food.

1 /5 Acre Swapper: All of the good reviews are old. Heres how we got here: I ordered a plate with 2 pieces of meat and 3 sides with a sliver of cake and my meal was $25 before tip (No Drink). +thoughts: "I was in a cafeteria style restaurant. I wasnt served at my table, who am I tipping?"- The problem is that Ive been coming here since 2017. Back then, there were older ladies who actually did the cooking and had pride in the food. Now, I go in there and see a cheerleading squad with the coach. I recommend bringing back the old ways of doing soul food restaurants. I didnt want to go to wild wings with sushi prices. The food tasted like the standard "Soul" food, yeah, but It has lost its charm. I expect better for that kind of money. Its just my opinion.

5 /5 Chrystal Thornburg Martin: I purchased takeout from this restaurant for the first time today. I had the dark meat baked chicken with cabbage and brunswick stew. I am very picky especially with the way things are seasoned. Everything was great. The chicken was so tender and juicy, sides were good and the plain cornbread was tasty. I also got the pulled pork with creamed corn and cabbage for my husband. His meal was great as well. Prices are good especially for the portion of food that you get. I cant wait to go back and try the oxtails and Seafood!

5 /5 Dalton Hall: The collard greens, red beans and rice, and pulled pork were VERY DELICIOUS!! The atmosphere and service gave a sense of real southern hospitality. When you come by Guyton, you have to try this restaurant. You will not be disappointed, PERIOD.
