4 /5 Kenneth Davis: Minute Grill has been a standard in this community for over 60 years. An institution if you will, but this was my first visit to the Minute Grill despite having lived in the area for over 10 years.
You order at the register, and they call out your number, then bring your order to the table. Or, you can belly up to the bar.
The hamburgers are sliders. There is very little meat in the burger, and I would put them on par with sliders found at other burger places. The sliders are $1.80.
But! The French fries are the best we have had in a long time. I will be coming back here for fries. One burger and a large order of fries were enough to satisfy my appetite.
The menu is limited to burgers, hot dogs, and fries with variations to the fixings you can add, along with chicken strips and chicken sandwiches.
We got here at 11:40. By noontime, the place was packed, and a line was forming at the register. Orders are filled quickly.
If you charge your meal on a credit card, there is a small fee for this. This is not disclosed.
All in all, its a good stop for a quick bite. We will be back for some of those delicious fries.
