5 /5 Lysha S: We were driving through Dawson and decided to stop at Mama Rita’s Mexican Kitchen, and I’m so glad we did. The street tacos, Birria tacos, and Puebla tacos were all incredible. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with real care. Even the salsa stood out, bright and full of flavor. For a place we found by chance, the whole experience felt like a win. The service was friendly and welcoming, the kind of hospitality that makes you feel at home even when you’re not local. If you’re passing through Dawson and want genuinely great Mexican food, Mama Rita’s is absolutely worth the stop.

5 /5 LAURA JOHNSON: A friend recommended this restaurant to us. When they found out we were going to be in the Dawson Georgia area. Absolutely loved it! Fantastic food and we had a wonderful server named Diego. He was courteous kind professional and stayed on top of all of our needs. Diego even brought out a small taste of their super hot sauce for my husband to try. We highly recommend this restaurant! Mexican "authentic" style restaurant.

1 /5 Stephen Farlow: Augustine, great waiter, no longer there. Wyatt, great waiter, no longer there. Raul, owner, not there, ever. He has quit on the property. If he was as serious about the Dawson location as he is about working out, there would not be problems. You MUST change the oil, not just add oil. It taste BAD. Anything cooked in the oxygenated oil has a rancid taste. You have to fix this if you hope to survive. Your product will never improve, and customers do not want to eat poor flavored food. We love to go to Mama Ritas. We just want chips that taste good. Please fix it, we want to be your customers!!

4 /5 Chimere Sweet: Nice atmosphere. I met my daughter for lunch, she had the Chipotle Burger and I had the Texas Nachos. My daughter didnt like the Chipotle sauce but other than that it was fine. My nachos were good but not as good as the Camilla Mama Ritas. The salsa and chips were really fresh. So was the sweet tea. Id likely go back if Im in the area.
