5 /5 Jones Dr. Roydrick (Dangerous & Determined): It was my first time there. I told Shay I was visiting from Florida. The service, the food, and the atmosphere were terrific! I was given a sample to go also! The House Lemonade Mix is something to behold! It is as sweet as sugar! I will be back!

4 /5 Joseph Sheffield: Great prices and portions. They have all the things us folks like for lunch and dinner. I wanted to try the oxtails but ended up getting the fried chicken and the jerk chicken meal. Most of the food was ready now except the fried okra so the wait time wasn’t long. Jerk Wings-10/10 tasty with a lil spice on the back end. Mashed Potatoes-10/10 fresh and will go good with most anything. Black eyed peas-perfect with okra in it 10/10 Cornbread- good-no issue Turnip- fresh, just a bit undercooked. Continue to cook and they’ll be softer. I prefer collards. Yams-fresh potatoes but they were too firm. Needed to continue to cook Fried Chicken- Done well but not seasoned. Like at home chicken with no signature restaurant flavor. Dressing-loved it. Glad they have dressing on weekdays. I’d eat here again and recommend. It’s the old church’s chicken building. there were children of the staff there which is fine, I’d keep them away from stirring the food. I wish it was more updated. With the neighborhood support & continued positive sales, They should be able to upgrade this establishment- it needs considerable improvement inside and out.
